Fame Whore Alexis Neiers Lands Unwanted Spotlight & Jail Time

Alexis Neiers is probably living more reality than she banked for. That’s because the reality star has been sentenced to six months for her part in the Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch crimes.

Neiers plead no contest before a Los Angeles county judge, Monday. Part of that deal includes her serving three years of felony probation, along with her jail time.

You may remember the group of teen burglars being accused of targeting the mansions of Hollywood celebs including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom. This after the noted ‘Burglar Bunch’ ripped off millions in cash and jewelry after using the internet to learn layouts of the targeted celeb homes, and later posing in pictures to flaunt their stolen fortunes. Hilton was hit for about $2 million in jewelry. Bloom was burglarized for more than half a million dollars in jewels, art and cash. And, it was Bloom’s ripped off fortune that Neiers was accused of stealing.

The “Pretty Wild” star has been ordered to stay away from Bloom’s home, and scheduled to surrender by June 24th.

I’m totally amused by the fact that these renegade people (with families who can provide) are doing crime. What’s worse is that they’re getting a slap on the wrist for it. I mean…I know dudes who are doing more than six months in the bing for simply defending themselves.

I say the burglary bandits did the crime for more than just fortune…they were also driven by fame and popularity. That’s no different than the fact that the infamous mass murderer Charles Manson was also partly driven by his search for stardom…And, he got it, didn’t he?

Johnny law should throw the book at these thieves, because another copy cat sicko is no doubt watching. Don’t you agree?
