Sue Simmons is a prominent news anchor, and staple in the NYC community. But, has ‘The Big Apple’ taken a bite out of her?
The veteran news lady has openly admitted to hitting the bottle before and between newscasts.
Today, Simmons made a guest appearance at LX New York, claiming that her drinking has come to a halt.
“That (her drinking) stopped in the mid ’80s, late ’80s,” Simmons said. “Because I looked in the mirror before — when I was about ready to go on the air — and my eyes were red.”
