This year was all about Michael Jackson…at least Jamie Foxx and the people over at BET would like for us to think so…
Jamie and the Michael Jackson’s outfits was not quite cutting it…I was totally embarrassed for Jamie…
Here’s a recap:
- New Edition opened the awards show and they performed well but their vocals were kinda weak…
- Keri Hilson performed but it was all show… Keri acted like she sold a 100 million records and performed with 10 choreographed dancers…Keri also lip synced…
- Soulja Boy performed and the people knew his song… I didn’t. More power to him.
- Neyo did his thing and I enjoyed his performance…know why? Neyo can sing mane…
- Beyonce performed and I must say she looked beautiful but she was putting me to sleep!
- Jamie Foxx performed with T-Pain and I had to be a fan to enjoy it…know why? Their performance was a auto-tune fest..
- Mary Mary performed and had me wondering: Are they gospel?
- Keith Sweat performed and he did his thang…
- Guy was there and I was happy to see the group… Teddy Riley did produce for Michael Jackson.. Didn’t he?
- Bel Biv Devoe performed and they were good. The crowd was really enjoying their performance too…even Joe jackson was getting into it.
- Ciara performed and she would have been good… if she was white. I expect more from my people…I hear more talent on the streets.
- Monica and Keisha Cole performed and they made me smile…know why? Those two girls could sing mane…
- Jay Z performed Death To Auto-tune and he killed it…I wonder how Jamie Foxx and others who use auto tune felt?
Over all the BET Awards show was under produced.
Jamie Foxx through-out the night kept on adverting his tour…like he’s a real singer…
The head of BET said after Michael Jackson passed, they had to re-work the show..and they redid the whole thing in 3 days. It looked like it!
Next time BET should leave it up to Berry Gordy and Quincy Jones; they’ll give a proper tribute to the King Of Pop!
I must go I got parties I must attend…

Jacky, you given em too much street justice. Most of that stuff will pass the Hollywood pop test, but fail the true street test.But really, you start payin a short time pimp big checks for tap dancin, soon grown
ass men and there female clones will start squeezin in
skinny jeans, shufflin, moonwalkin sideways.All money
aint good money,Mike wouldn’t have like alot of that stuff. Mary Mary was dressed for the track, they looked
like two meat sauages wigglin around, I like that, but that wasn’t gospel, that was some stuff you see in places that are trying to cover up flat backers
workin back stag. Joe Jackson glad they, he ready to
start a record company now, to get that back room started.The people that performed best, stuck to what
they were really known for, and not switch up.
Beyonce made mike happy, Joe too, she’s bored, or maybe ready for the track, Jay didn’t seem happy,but
Lil mama, figured she’d take a stab at knockin beyonce out her position with jay, but, I don’t think
Jayz was drinkin, smokin or sniff anything, so she’s
going to have to come up with better plan B, her body
aint that powerful.But I give credit, it took heart, to try to take beyonces spot, tryin to replace her, like nobody would notice. What a hard choice for Jay.
