BLACK vs WHITE: RACISM TAKEN TO A NEW LEVEL

It’s no ‘dark’ secret that years of embedded ignorance have lead countless Americans to become racists. Don’t believe me? What do you think the Ku Klux Klan’s M-O is all about? But now, racism has even ‘gone to the dogs.’

Pounds across the city of Los Angeles are now faced with the growing problem of not being able to land homes for their big black dogs. As a result, many of man’s ‘so-called’ best friends are being murdered. All because of the color of their fur! The problem is so prevalent that kennel officials are being forced to take pro-active steps like: painting the kennels blue and fitting the black dogs with bright-colored scarves, in hopes that prospective owners will see the the furry black, four-legged orphans (on doggie death row) as standing out from the rest.

Yes… Black is a color. The dictionary describes the color at the center of today’s blog as, “lacking hue and brightness.” But black is also defined as being, “enveloped in darkness.” It has long been a word associated with negativity. Don’t believe me? Let’s go down the list: Black Magic, Blackmail, Black Market, a Black Outlook, Black Widow Spider, Black Friday, Black Heart, a Black Deed, Black Humor. Get the picture?

In sharp comparison, let’s now talk about the color, white. The Bible Dictionary defines white as, “a symbol of purity.” In Matthew, chapter 17, verse 2 it’s written – “Our Lord, at his transfiguration, appeared in raiment white as the light.” This is embedded into the minds of our Christian children while they attend bible studies from the very get-go of their lives. So, what does that mean? I say this – Our kids are being brainwashed, while the black stigma is embedded into their psyches. Once those children become adults, they become a venomous link of the chain of racism. Ensuring that racism lives. It’s absolutely disgusting to witness that this evil chain can’t only not be broken, but it’s also bleeding its ignorance into the animal kingdom. Won’t you agree?
