Buju Banton Arrested in Cocaine Conspiracy!

MIAMI FLORIDA

Reggae superstar Buju Banton is sitting behind bars after being charged in Tampa with intent to poses and distribute cocaine 5 kilos or more.

Banton, who is legally known as Mark Anthony Myrie, has been in U.S. federal custody in Miami, Florida since Thursday.

The “Rasta Got Soul” dancehall artist is facing a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine.

The charge stems from a DEA case in Tampa.

It’s extremely unsettling to know that these are the alleged measures being taken by an individual who was once a top billing reggae artist. Because the investigations into this case are ongoing, I am going to refrain from adding further commentary, but I will say this: I hope that the DA and the judge on Buju’s case are not gay, because that will def not work in his favor. Remember “Boom bye bye Inna batty bwoy head Rude bwoy no promote the nasty man Dem haffi dead”???
