I am a openly gay black male and I can careless of people’s deep hatred toward gays. With lewd acts like this and these horrid gym stories occurring I can understand why people look at us at animals…. At the same token men like Mister Cee and Pastor Eddie Long are closeted because of the ignorance in our black community. We judge and hate which makes it hard for men like the aforementioned so they result to this “downlow” behavior. I’m not here to change people’s view or to convert diehard Christians to get on board with this lifestyle. The fact of the matter is sin is sin- there’s not a level of sin with homosexuality being the highest… So whether a man is engaging in sex with another man, a woman sleeps with a married man or man takes another man’s life- it ALL is equated as sin. Let’s not be judgmental people…. None of us is no better than Mister Cee…. With that said let these revelations serve us as a whole, a community, as BLACK people, to engage in open dialogue so we can help the next man. We are not The Almighty, The Alpha & Omega, The Creator. Let him decide who gets into Heaven- not you or I. In the mean time let’s worry about living our lives without passing judgement because that’s not our place.
