My friend in San Fran, Dee Dee Russell is as devoted to her art as anyone whom I’ve ever come across in Hollywood, and guess what? Dee Dee is a strong Black woman defying the odds against acheiving her dream.
This is a career filmmaker’s pledge drive with 69 videos to crowdfund 6 documentary films, starting with the elder abuse/death of her very own mother.
