Is 50 Cent Turning Over a New Leaf?

Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

50 Cent Gone Pop

50 Cent has nothing but great things to say about the previous ladies in his life.

That’s a far cry from the rapper once being accused of committing arson to his baby mother’s house while she was inside with their son. You may remember back in 2008, Fiddy decided to try and clean up his image so he can get into movies. That’s when he began charity work by giving back to his community. Don’t believe me? Ask Bette Midler.

Now, the 35-year-old rapper recently released a string of nice statements surrounding the women as he prepared the launching his live half hour online comedy show, which will being its broadcast April 28th.

Here’s what 50 had to say about Ciara: Continue Reading…

50 Cent is a Cheap Skate!

50cent Called CHEAP

Exclusive – 50 Cent may be a millionaire, but he’s developing a bad reputation of being a cheap scake in Hollywood (and he’s not the first).

Just two weeks ago, the G-Unit rapper made a stop at a Tinseltown nail salon, Diamond Nails, with a female Filipina companion (rumored to be a known prostitute). That’s where the pair reportedly pampered themselves with a manicure and pedicure each. Nail technicians at the salon warmly welcomed 50 as he arrived, but just before he left the establishment they were shocked when he didn’t leave a tip for the two ladies who primped him and his female friend.

This after the pair was tended to at the salon for more than an hour. 50, who reportedly didn’t say much, is said to have been using his cell phone to text for most of that time. After the Diamond Nails’ technicians wrapped their work, 50 reportedly headed to the front of the salon where he pulled out a fat wad of hundreds and twenty dollar bills to pay the $60 tab ($30 for each mani-pedi) and left without tipping anyone. 50 Cent Joins Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Movie Production Venture

Tuesday, January 25th, 2011

50 Cent has paired-up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. to launch a new film production company. The pair made the announcement last week, at Sundance Film Festival.

Here’s what the champion boxer said of his new venture with the G Unit leader:

“We’re going to do what we normally do: sit in a room and brainstorm and try to come up with new ideas…you know, outside the box. Be creative and just work together and try to be positive. That’s the main thing. It’s about working hard, being positive and working together.”

It’s great to learn that 50 cent and Floyd Mayweather have teamed up to do business. I hope that they put out positive films through their company, because if they start releasing films like Tyler Perry chooses…our teens are in big trouble. So I hope and pray that they will have the smarts to know that our youth don’t need to see another version of Super Fly. Could you image if Fiddy and Floyd started putting out movies about great men like Toussaint L’Ouverture and Booker T. Washington? Wouldn’t that be great? I just hope they don’t stereotype the urban city youth in exchange for the almighty dollar bill.

Don’t you agree?
