We’ve learned Jay Z has outbid Jive and Universal Records for a German independent digital firm called Block Starz Music.

Is Jay Z outsourcing or has he gone Euro? I don’t know, but I do know Beyonce’s next album will be filled with a bevy of Techno songs. Jay Z was caught in the Kentucky Wildcats locker room this past Sunday night. That’s where Jay was celebrating the team’s victory over North Carolina, but as part owner of the New Jersey Nets it’s against NBA rules for Jay Z to be in contact with players who have not yet announced their draft eligibility.

Willow Smith is crediting Jay Z for being her creative mentor. This after Jay Z has taken the time to spend in the studio with the 11-year-old artist, in preparation for her upcoming debut album.

Here’s what Willow had to say:

“Whenever I have a creative block, he’s always like, Do what artists do when they have a block. Make a song about it.”

You may remember Jay Z was Rihanna’s mentor, and look how she turned out. Now, Rihanna can’t wait to show her ass when she performs. She’s also known for giving her audience sleazy sexual innuendos while she performs, and she can’t wait to throw up the hand sign of the devil’s horns. Clint Eastwood reportedly wants Beyonce to play the leading lady in his latest film “A Star Is Born.”

The film is a re-make of the original 1976 classic in which Barbra Streisand played the lead role. Though the flick is a musical, it’s set to be filled with several love scenes. Critics say because of the racy scenes, they don’t believe that Jay Z will approve. But the fact is this movie will be the biggest film Beyonce has ever starred in, and word I’m hearing is that it could land Bey an Oscar. No one knows who the leading male actor will be, but I’m sure they’ll cast someone who will land the attention of female viewers.

If Beyonce excepts this Oscar-winning role, she should also expect Jay Z to be on the set at all times. Know why? Because Jay will undoubtedly be spying on his wife…just like he did when Bey was filming Dreamgirls mane. This is no different than how Micheal Douglas handles Catherine Zeta Jones. I guess that’s because men in arranged marriages are kinda insecure to leave their wife alone on the movie set.

It seems that Jay Z and Kanye West may each need to eat a piece humble pie. That’s because the pair are constantly clowning other rappers. The funny part about it all is that Jay is targeting the same rappers who Kanye records with. How funny is that?

Members from the Dipset crew, Cam’ron and Jim Jones are just a few who are under fire, and they clown Jay Z too…on both record and video. I believe Cam’ron was the person who first called Jay Z “Joe Camel.” Cam’ron also disses Kanye on record, but he and Jim Jones both ate their words when they paired up with Ye to record songs like “Christmas In Harlem.” Kinda hypocritical on Dipset’s behalf, don’t you think?

Then in 2009, Cash Money Records’ CEO Bryan (Birdman) Williams aka Baby told MTV that his label’s rapper Lil Wayne is the best rapper in the game, adding that Wayne has more money than Jay Z. I have no doubt that that statement must have struck a nerve with Jay Z, because in his latest release with Kanye “HAM”, Jay disses both Wayne and Baby.
