The Washington Post Scrutinizes Rap Group Public Enemy

It seems that one of the country’s most renowned newspapers is no stranger to bad journalism. That’s because The Washington Post recently ran an article pointing to rap group, Public Enemy as announcing September 11th 2001 was a joke, on their well-known song “911 Is A Joke.”
The real joke is the track used as reference in The Washington Post, was released back in 1990. Editors of the widely respected newspaper caught on to the mistake, and released a correction a week after they ran the story pointing to Chuck D, Flava Flav and Professor Griff as alleged terrorists.
