It seems that one of the country’s most renowned newspapers is no stranger to bad journalism. That’s because The Washington Post recently ran an article pointing to rap group, Public Enemy as announcing September 11th 2001 was a joke, on their well-known song “911 Is A Joke.”

The real joke is the track used as reference in The Washington Post, was released back in 1990. Editors of the widely respected newspaper caught on to the mistake, and released a correction a week after they ran the story pointing to Chuck D, Flava Flav and Professor Griff as alleged terrorists. Nearly three dozen alleged black gang members are being held on million dollar bonds in Denver after police say they targeted and severely beat-up white people.

The series of racially motivated attacks, against numerous victims, happened in downtown Denver between July and September.

Denver authorities say the group of suspects uttered racially charged statements to their victims before each of the 26 attacks. According to arrest affidavits from the Denver Police Department, the suspects referred to their victims as “crackers”, announced, “I hate fucking white people,” and advised their victims to not enter the downtown section of Denver unless they “brought their friends for protection.” (more…)

The black man who posed as a white supremist on facebook.com is sentenced to three-years probation. Part of that sentence includes a racial sensitivity course and 150 hours of community service.

The Louisiana judge’s decision comes after 20-year-old Dyron Hart sent death threats, from a fake profile on the social networking site, to at least three black Nicholls State University students, during President Barack Obama’s election.

Hart, a Mississippi native, is reported to have made the threats so he could “get a reaction.” He pleaded guilty to one federal count, back in August. Dyron Hart attended Nicholls State for one semester last year.

A routine traffic stop near the Texas-Mexico border led to a drug bust involving ecstasy pills in the shape of President Barack Obama.

Palmview police arrested the driver of the vehicle after uncovering cocaine, heroin, marijuana and several ecstasy pills. Investigators say the ecstasy pills are all shaped like cartoon characters, the Smurfs and Homer Simpson. Authorities say many of the pills were also shaped as a cartooned Obama. (more…)

Miss Argentina 1994 died Sunday, after the former beauty queen went under the knife to enhance the size of her buttocks.

38-year-old Solange Magnano suffered complications leading to a pulmonary embolism during her plastic surgery, Thursday. That’s when the liquid injected into her body made its way to Magnano’s lungs and brain. The mother of twins is reported to have been in critical condition for three days before the liquid ultimately blocked the main artery of her lungs. (more…)

Washington authorities are on the hunt for the suspect Maurice Clemmons who is believed responsible for killing four cops, Sunday morning.

That’s when a gunman reportedly fatally shot four police officers, after walking into the Forza Coffee Shop, where the team was preparing to begin their day shifts.

“This was more of an execution,” Pierce County Sheriff’s, stated spokesman Ed Troyer. “He walked in with the mind of shooting police officers.”

All four of the officers were declared dead at the scene. (more…)

Investigations are underway after a police confrontation over the weekend ended with a dead teen.

NYPD officers shot at 18-year-old Dashawn Vasconcelles a total of 14 times.

Autopsy reports reveal Vasconcelles suffered 11 gunshot wounds — three to the middle of his back, five to his right side and three to his left side.

According to NYPD police Chief Paul J. Browne, cops spotted the now dead teen and two others just before midnight, Saturday. Vasconcelles ran, and a foot chase ensued. Three officers tailed Vasconcelles, who later pointed a pistol at them. The officers opened fire on the teen, who was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. (more…)
