WTF?!? Amsterdam Bans Tourists From Coffee Shops

Saturday, May 28th, 2011

Amsterdam New Coffeeshop Ban
America moves forward, and the originator, The Nederlands moves backwards!

The current right-wing Dutch government on Friday said it would start banning tourists from buying cannabis from “coffee shops” and impose restrictions on Dutch customers by the end of the year.

The Netherlands is well known for having one of Europe’s most liberal soft drug policies that has made its cannabis shops a popular tourist attraction, particularly in Amsterdam.

Backed by the far-right party of anti-immigrant politician Geert Wilders, the coalition government that came into power last year announced plans to curb drug tourism as part of a nationwide program to promote health and fight crime. Continue Reading…

High School Campus Gives Snoop Dogg The Boot

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California gave the rapper Snoop Dogg the boot. Know why? Because Snoop was getting high while he was filming his new movie called “High School” mane.

Here’s what a school administrator had to say:

“The subject matter of the movie changed after permission was given to film on campus. And we are returning the $3,000 daily fee for use of the school, and asking that any footage already shot there be destroyed.”

Rappers like Wiz Khalifa would idolize Snoop Dogg but others will say that the 39 year old rapper from Long Beach, California is leading our kids astray. Continue Reading…

Louisiana Judge Sentences Man to Life in Prison For Marijuana

Monday, May 9th, 2011

This is a grave injustice when sellers of Alcohol can be found on nearly every corner. Alcohol actually is responsible for killing thousands of people every month and is directly related to the destruction of families and morals….

State Judge Raymond S. Childress punished Hood under Louisiana’s repeat-offender law in his courtroom in Covington on Thursday. A jury on Feb. 15 found the defendant guilty of attempting to possess and distribute marijuana at his Slidell home, court records show.

Hood moved from eastern New Orleans to the Slidell area after he admitted to separate charges of distribution of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana on Dec. 18, 2009, in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. He received a suspended five-year prison sentence and five years’ of probation for each — which was precisely the same penalty he got in that court after pleading guilty to possessing and intending to distribute marijuana on Feb. 22, 2005.

When Hood switched homes, he also requested a new probation officer based in St. Tammany. Authorities granted the wish, and the officer, Dustin Munlin, drove to Hood’s place for a routine visit on Sept. 27, 2010. Continue Reading…

DJ Quik Dubs Micheal Jacson Kush as His Muse

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

DJ Quik New Record

DJ Quik is crediting a strain of marijuana named after Michael Jackson for the inspiration of the rapper’s latest album, “The Book of David.” The west coast lyricist fittingly made that be known on 4/20, a calender day widely known as ‘Marijuana Appreciation Day.’

Here’s what Quik had to say:

“I was high and I hit a blunt and I was happy! That’s the whole album. It’s not like I’m trying to make a comeback with 99 tracks. We got hold of some Michael Jackson Kush and we got high and did this album from start to finish. Every time I hear the album I want to get high again.” Continue Reading…

Montel Williams Fights For Medical Marijuana

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

Hempfest Promotes Legalization Of Marijuana

A Milwaukee judge has dismissed a drug paraphernalia possession charge against Montel Williams. It turns out a marijuana pipe the the former talk show host was busted with has tested negative for marijuana.

You may remember back in January, Williams — a card-carrying medical marijuana advocate, was busted by TSA agents at Milwaukee’s airport after they uncovered the pipe in question during a security check. Williams paid the $484 citation, but disputed the ticket he was issued.

Here’s what Montel had to say:

“I’m thankful that episode behind me . I use marijuana legally to relieve the chronic pain caused by multiple sclerosis.”

Cases like Montel’s are nothing more than a waste of tax payer’s money. America is close to $14 Trillion in debt — legalizing marijuana would only put money back into the economy. Our government spends over $19 Billion a year on the war on drugs, including pot which should be legal. Continue Reading…
