Chris Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins shocked her Twitter followers Tuesday, after Tweeting “Michael Jackson died so Chris Brown could live!!!”. I suppose we can all play that game….. I’ve since seen many, HSK favorite tho is “Ike Turner Died So That Chris Brown Could Live!!!”

Not surprisingly, fans of the late King of Pop became understandably outraged at the comment. Here’s what the Black Eyed Peas member had to say about the widely anticipated album from the King of Pop:

“I don’t think that should ever come out. That’s bad. He was a perfectionist and he wouldn’t have wanted it that way. How are you going to release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain’t there to bless it? Now that he’s not part of the process, what are they doing? Because he was a friend of mine, I just think that’s disrespectful. What’s wrong with what he already contributed to the world? You don’t disrespect someone when they’re gone. How much can you suck from his energy? Freaking parasites.”

You can’t always believe all that you see on television or read in the papers, and that may hold true when it comes to recent reports of Sony Music Entertainment signing a multi-million dollar record-breaking deal with the The King of Pop’s estate to retain distribution rights to Michael Jackson’s recordings until 2017.

Now, one top music industry insider is pointing to the mainstream media as being both inaccurate and “lazy.” That’s according to one very credible HSK source, who says for the numbers to add up, MJ would have to “die again” in order for Sony to sell the 50 million units needed to come out of the deal.

Our source tells us that few reporters expressed skepticism to the so-called record-braking deal, and even fewer checked the facts.

Countless reports of Sony selling 31 million MJ records just last year, are flooding the airwaves. Two-thirds of those sales are said to be made overseas, but the US entity which tracks the sales of music and music video products, proves otherwise. Dr. Conrad Murray plead not guilty to involuntary manslaughter during a Los Angeles court arraignment, early this afternoon.

Members of the Jackson family were present for today’s court proceedings – including Katherine, Joe, LaToya and Jermaine.
