I had the opportunity of interviewing Phil Spector before his incarceration and it was a pretty sad; know why? Phil told me to my face that he didn’t kill Lana Clarkson.
Lana committed suicide according to Phil Spector and guess what? I believe him. I asked Phil, as we sat in the H.S.K. office, what had happened that night.
“We played a game and we both lost.” He never elaborated any further; he wanted to talk about music. So I asked him what was his thoughts on American Idol and he replied that American Idol was not his cup of tea. Phil said American Idol was a complete insult to music. And I must agree; don’t you?
Then we spoke about our passed mutual friend Ike Turner and he and I both shared our fun times with him.
Ike actually introduced me to Phil Spector years ago but Phil and I also ran into each other again at a sad point in both of our lives; it was at Ike’s funeral.
We spoke there as well; Phil and I both have somethings in common; guess what it is?

Alicia Keys, your favorite not mine.
Know why?
Alicia is not hip or funky in anyway. She’s boring. Alicia is cute but this is not a beauty pageant, is it? Didn’t she have to get a nose job too?
Clive Davis discovered Alicia (you must read the book “Hit Man” to really know Clive Davis). I did and guess what? Dude’s a crook. Clive has been granted by some the title “genius” for discovering black talent. In other words Clive has a ear for music.
Fuck Clive, he was lucky for signing Sly Stone ask Sly? He’ll tell you. White people give Clive credit for Janis Joplin, I didn’t black singers were already doing that. Janis did nothing new. Janis is like Eminem, they came on board I never knew they gave out medals for that did you?

Michelle Williams was the last installment of the pop group Destiny’s Child.
Who is Michelle Williams beyond that? I don’t really know but I do know she’s the weakest link of the group.
Remember 106 And Park? The group was performing this was a few years back and I watched.
I was stoned but when am I not? Before I knew it, Michelle fell on stage. I felt sorry for her with the (more…)

Marc Giveand who formerly operated under the alias Marc Livingston at Global Music Entertainment G.M.E in Atlanta Georgia has started a new operation under the title “The Concert Group.”email at “Booking Rep” info@theconcertgroup.com
GME was shuttered and his partner Tim Dog went on the run after clients realized they had been duped. HSK has gotten hold of many documents laying out the alleged fraud being committed by Marc Giveand.
Clients who were duped by Marc received “Letters of Intent” from Marc @ GME for artists such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey to name just a few. Some of the documents drafted and sent by marc can be found at:
Mariah Carey LOI & Here
Britney Spears LOI & Here
Madonna LOI & Here
Marc even attempted to scam the Wendy Williams show with a fake booking for them with Tommy Lee. Note these are all artists which Marc under any alias has never had a working relationship with. See document HERE
One only needs to go as far as contacting Mr. Manny Ongkiko from the Philippines @ paps_prod@yahoo.com or Doug Brown here in the states. They were scammed on a fake booking for Chris Brown last year.
Marc was contacted for comment but he was in rehab!

Matthew Knowles….. I ain’t gonna lie. I don’t know much about Matthew but I’ll tell you this. He’s not Kelly’s father…. ya’ll need to stop.
This father is a good guy, he likes his cocaine and he likes young women. Who doesn’t? Give Matthew a break, he’s not a hypocrite like Joe Simpson. Joe’s an evangelist isn’t he? And look what he’s doing to his daughters Ashley and Jessica.
Ya’ll need to recognize Matthew’s a good guy. Ask his (more…)

It has just been announced that the remaining Virgin Megastores in the US will all be closed before summer.

AP REPORTS:
After nearly two decades of rocking the music world with a mix of brash stunts and splashy CD releases, the remaining six Virgin Megastores in the United States will shut their doors this summer in another blow to recorded music.
The hipster shops received their branding from billionaire founder Sir Richard Branson and remained profitable, but the real estate firms that own the U.S. chain determined they could command higher rent from new tenants.
“I’ve been pushing back a little bit on the notion that this is just another casualty of the music industry,” said Simon Wright, the chief executive of Virgin Entertainment Group Inc.
A slowing economy took its toll. To buck declining music sales, the chain broadened its offerings in the last few years to apparel, books and electronics. The six remaining stores took in about $170 million in revenue a year, down from the $230 million from 23 stores at its peak in 2002.
The lack of expansion plans and a recent decision to close the Times Square location in New York, which had been on track to make $56 million last year until the financial collapse began in September, made supporting the rest of the chain untenable, Wright said.
“Our six best stores from a retail point of view are also our six best stores from a real estate point of view,” Wright said.

HSK 2009 Grammy's WRAP-UP
GRAMMY’S
Fuck, I’m sick but the Grammy’s gotta get it! I’m not lying when I say we may have just witnessed the worst Grammy’s in history.
Anyone with street cred should of stayed the fuck home.
U2 opened the Grammys they were garbage. They should have sang a song we all knew. I don’t know the song they performed, do you?
What was Jay Z doing with Coldplay? It was so plastic, Jay Z should know better. Justin Timberlake with Al Green? Justin’s a soul man now? Fuck off. It got even worse when I saw Stevie Wonder with the Jonas Brothers. Stevie Wonder clearly has talent and we all know this but I’m tired of these award shows exploiting him.
Kanye came out looking like Michael Jackson doing a version of Billie Jean. Did you see Kanye is trying to bring back the mullet? Leave the rock hair and hi-tops to Thom Yorke bro.
Oh and Molly Cyrus performed with some chic playing a guitar, Molly is fat. I sure hope she quits drinking so much beer and loses a few pounds. The closer she hints at pulling a “Britney Spears” the closer TeddyRevolution is to becoming the next K-Fed! HA….I wonder where that trouble-maker disappeared to?
Then Kenny Chesney came on and I changed the station.
By the time I mustered up enough will power to come back, Puffy was there was on stage with Natalie Cole. That bitch looks sick. Not flu sick, but disease sick.
On to Katie Perry’s performance, she didn’t lip sync. She should have. She sounded horrible. I’m not even gonna break it down any further ‘cuz it was a joke she was even there.
Then Mia came on stage pregnant ( she was lip syncing ). I was waiting for her water to break hoping T.I. “the snitch” slipped on her placenta.
Then Paul McCartney hit the stage. I went to the fridge to get some grapes and I didn’t miss nothing. LL was there, he’s everywhere…
Sugarland came on I turned the channel, didn’t you? (more…)
