Drake’s hit record “Best I Ever Had” may have landed him an upcoming court date with Playboy suing the rapper for copyright infringement.

Drake used “Fallin In Love”, a song by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Dennison/Reynold at the beginning of the track “Best I Ever Had”. Now, Playboy is suing Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group, and is fighting for an injunction to stop the sales and distribution of the record.

I was utterly disappointed as I watched the dreadful BET awards show, as it was one of the worst award shows I’ve ever seen.

First, this year’s Best Female Rapper, Nicki Minaj, and Officer Rick Ross joined Puffy and his group Dirty Money to share the stage as they LIP SYNCED!

It was then quite hilarious to me that Drake won the years Best Male Rapper. I wonder what Eminem was even doing there. I can’t forget Kanye West’s opening performance (I’m still laughing!! What was he wearing around his neck?) And speaking of attire, what was Jada Pinkett Smith wearing (or not wearing, for that matter, with her ass hanging out)? Isn’t she a mother? What kind of example is she setting for the teenage viewers?

What a surprise it was to watch El Debarge performing…he proved that you can smoke and sniff all the coke in Peru, and still have a voice to sing. Its no secret that events company giant, Live Nation, has being overpaying artist for years to rid of the competition. Because of that, it’s the promoters who have been losing money. The artist never cared before, but now they should. Know why? Because the free ride is over.

Because of disappointing ticket sales, Live Nation canceled 200 CAA artist shows. The truth is, the audience no longer cares to see these sort of concerts, because fans have already seen most of their favorite bands perform and they’re quite fed up of paying too much money for a show that they’ve already seen.

“Labels used to support clubs. But they know longer can afford to, and there is no incentive for club promoters to lose money, because they know when the act grows, it’ll will just go to Live Nation or AEG,” said industry expert Bob Letsetz. “Looks like Live Nation is crying uncle. And can you sue Live Nation for breach of contract when most of your business is done with the behemoth.” Continue Reading…

Travis McCoy, was recently asked to join Rihanna on the road for The Last Girl On Earth Tour.

It’s said that Rihanna kicked Niki Minaj off the tour only to replace her with Travis McCoy. My question is this: How can this be? Isn’t it an all girl tour? The joke is, Travis has accepted the invitation!

If Gucci Mane has his way, he’d have you believe that Waka Flocka’s mother, Debra Antney, stole money from him while he was in prison. For those of you who don’t know who Debra Antney is, she once served as manager to both Guuci Mane and Nicki Minaj…that is before they both jumped ship on her.

Gucci says he fired Debra because “she was stealing money” from him. If that’s the case, why is Gucci still rolling with Debra’s son, Waka Flocka? I think Gucci may be suffering side effects from all them Xtacy pills that he took.
