The British actress Thandie Newton is saying that Vogue magazine is racist. Know why? Because Vogue magazine rarely ever puts black women on it’s front covers mane.

According to Marcus Isaiah Washington there is racism at William Morris Endeavor, which is the the largest talent agency in the world and guess what? Washington took WME to court for racial discrimination and lost.

“Mr Washington submitted over a week ago for an expedited appeal because of the biased judge who ignored his argument entirely, omitted pertinent facts and misapplied the prevailing law so that he could rule in their favor. These arebitration agreements are nothing but a legal loophole created by savvy lawyers to compel unknowing minorities into waiving their civil rights as a condition to be employed, esp. when that employer has a 113 year pattern and existing practice of discrimination towards African Americans and other minorities. These injustices have to be stopped. He’s literally fighting an institutional of racism alone. The opinion of the public is the only source of checks and balances to the all white WME, law firm representing them (Loeb & Loeb)and judicial system that he’s up against”.

The unemployment rate for Afro-Americans has peaked to 16.7% the highest since 1984. Is there intentional employment discrimination at the workplace? I don’t work at a 9 to 5 job so I don’t know, but Marcus Washington did and he believes there was intentional employment discrimination at his former workplace.

In 2011 the state of Georgia will be guilty of a lynching. The lynching of Troy Davis, condoned and carried out by the US Government. This is a stain on our whole judicial process.

Troy Davis will die tomorrow. Georgia’s pardons board today rejected a last-ditch plea for clemency for the death row inmate, despite calls from the likes of Pope Benedict, Amnesty International, and Jimmy Carter for his sentence to be commuted. The panel announced its decision after hearing hours of testimony from his supporters and prosecutors, and the AP notes that the decision leaves Davis with little chance of avoiding death by lethal injection, scheduled for 7pm tomorrow.

Davis claims that he was wrongly convicted of killing off-duty Savannah officer Mark MacPhail in 1989—calling it a case of mistaken identity—and in the hearing, his lawyers attempted to establish “substantial doubt.” Three jurors from the 1991 case asked the board to grant Davis clemency, with one saying she now doubts the verdict they handed him; a Savannah woman also told the board that at a 2009 party she heard Sylvester “Redd” Coles, who was with Davis just before MacPhail was shot, say he was the killer, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Counters Mark MacPhail Jr., “Justice was finally served for my father.”

Only Obama can save this potentially innocent man’s life now. Will he?
