Urban Guru Jacky Says…. Steven Tyler may be a long time member of the legendary rock band Aerosmith, making music alongside his band mates (who he has worked with for more than four decades), but that doesn’t mean he shares all of his music happenings with them. That’s because Tyler has struck a recent deal with Fox television to become the newest American Idol judge. Now, fellow Aerosmith band mate Joe Perry is speaking out against Tyler’s decision.

Here’s what Perry had to say about the whole thing:

“I found out on the internet like the rest of the world…I mean, this is no small thing.
I mean, after working with me for 40 years, he couldn’t tell me about this…
Why so secretive? We’re told it’s a done deal. If Steven is committed to a TV show,
that kind of affects the rest of us. We’d like to plan our lives, ya know?”

Ozzy Osbourne admits he was high during filming of every episode of his family-based MTV reality show. And though cameras followed Ozzy around daily, the former “Black Sabbath” front man says he still was able to to get high in a secret room in his home.

Joni Mitchell definitely thinks so. The folk singer recently did a interview with the Los Angeles Times. That’s when she labeled Bob Dylan a plagiarist, and said dude is not authentic…Ouch!!!

Joni said Bob Dylan is as fake as his name “Bobby Zimmerman”, and to tell you the truth it was really Jimi Hendrix who showed Bob how to take his bullshit folk songs to Rock & Roll, but as Joni says Jimi Hendrix wanted to be more like Miles Davis. I was once in love with hip/hop because it was so different from R’nB – meaning rappers were never begging for love in their songs…

The beats were exciting and the rapper normally had something special to say about himself or the city he lived in…
Once, in the game of hip/hop we all hated the police…ask Dr Dre. We never cared about corny nightclubs ‘cuz they never liked our dress code. We were from the streets and most of us came from government housing raised by a single parent.

We made up our own language – we had our own slang and we all had a crew…In other words we just didn’t give a fuck…did we? Time has changed because hip/hop became what I always hated and do you know what that is? POP MUSIC!!!!

Hip/hop is now in the same lane as R’nB and Pop music so it’s truly boring to me and I don’t believe anything this current MCs have to say. Rappers today are not revolutionary they’re all materialistic and some are of them are even gay…ask Wendy Williams. Continue Reading…

Simmons is saying Kiss has been around for 25 years and his band needs to be recognized. Gene is pissed KISS lost the ballot THIS TIME to METALLICA, JEFF BECK, and BOBBY WOMACK Abba, The Stooges, & Genesis.

Simmons said, the guys on the ballot board ain’t shit they can go get him a sandwich anytime he wants.
