Not-so Lil Boosie looking at even more trouble as he fights a first degree murder charge, while serving time in Louisianan penitentiary.

Boosie is now being investigated for threatening East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III. Boosie, who has attacked Moore on wax before, now he has police believing there was a credible threat against the District Attorney, who happens to be leading the investigation into the rapper’s possible involvement in as many as five murders.

After a few weeks on the run, James Rosemond, aka Jimmy Henchman, was arrested today by federal agents on narcotics trafficking, witness tampering, and obstruction of justice charges.

Rosemond, 46, was apprehended by federal investigators after a foot chase in Manhattan. He was spotted at the W Hotel near Union Square and took off running north, eventually getting tackled by agents several blocks away on East 21st Street. Continue Reading…

Pioneering Hip-Hop personality Fab 5 Freddy is currently a featured artist in MOCA’s “Art in The Streets.” A long-time graffiti artist, the founding host of “Yo! MTV Raps” has his first solo exhibit on display at Gallery 151 in Manhattan’s Lower Eastside.

The pieces are a fusion of graffiti and Warhol-influenced painting that embody Fab 5 Freddy’s various experiences.
“I’m remixing forms and shapes from my past and kind of turning it into something new,” he told WPIX in New York. Watch the clip of Freddy discussing the exhibit, which runs through July 1st.

Tone Loc was arrested Saturday afternoon (June 18, 2011) for felony domestic violence after a physical altercation with his baby momma.

Police sources had this to say:

“Loc (real name Anthony Smith) was arrested yesterday around 2:45 PM at an apartment complex in Burbank, CA. We’re told he was taken in without incident and booked into jail a few hours later.”

Tone Loc is currently being held on $50,000 — and has yet to find the bail amount to be released.

Word of a man admitting to the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur is spreading.

According to convicted murderer Dexter Issac, who’s currently serving a life sentence for an unrelated crime, Jimmy Henchman paid him $2,500 to shoot Tupac at New York City’s Quad Recording Studios – and he says, Puffy was in on the plan.

Now I’ve spoken with Jimmy Henchman, but I won’t publish what we spoke about. Know why? Because I don’t want to end up testifying in court mane. But I will say this – Jimmy says the accusations against him are NOT true. I also spoke with inside source, Chuck Phillips.

Here’s what Chuck Phillips had to say:

“Jimmy and Haitian Jack opened a management company. They wanted out of the drug game, because they knew that there was money in hip hop. Puffy just got a million dollars from his $10 million deal with Arista and Jimmy wanted to impress him so he told Puffy I can get Tupac to sign to Bad Boy Records. Pac wasn’t going to sign to Bad Boy Records, and I know for a fact that there was at least 20 people in Quad studio that night and they all knew Pac was going to get ruffed up. I interviewed almost everybody who was there at the recording session and Isaac’s was the one who pistol whipped Pac badly but he didn’t shoot him. This is probably not the “meet & greet” two fans were expecting when they forked over $80 each to meet Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony last week in Chicago.

Bizzy Bone, who recently reunited with his group Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony, is under investigation by Chicago PD for allegedly beating up two fans after a concert last week.

Law enforcement sources say, the two alleged victims — both male — told police they each paid $80 for a meet-and-greet with the rappers on their tour bus last Thursday night, but when they entered the vehicle, Bizzy flipped out. Continue Reading…

Looks like Young Buck might be headed back to jail.

Young Buck was recently slammed with a pair of speeding tickets in Georgia and Indiana. This while the 30-year-old rapper is free on $100K bond. It’s a situation which Young Buck reportedly did not disclose to his probation officer. Now, the lyricist could be face being locked up behind bars for the violation of his probation.
