Claudia Jordan Responds to Being Called a Gold Digger

In regards to the story published yesterday titled “Gold Digger Claudia Jordan Targets Datari Turner” Claudia reached out to Jacky via Myspace with her response as represented below:

What gives? Why such a hateful and untrue story? What’s your beef with me? First of all I have NEVER in my life been sponsored by any man never mind any NFL athlete. It’s a known fact that I am fiercely independent and make my own money and have real estate that I bought myself. I am a self made woman who’s been making over 6 figures working my butt off since 2000. I will not let you slander my name and reputation……

Why so negative? And calling me a gold digger is laughable. You should really be more careful about what you write about people because what you did is called slander and people get sued over that. And as a black man I am appalled by what you said about my case with the Price is Right. There were lots of racist things said and done on that set and I’m proud that I stood up for myself and the many other black girls out there. And they DID SETTLE with me so what does that tell you? That means they were not confident to go to trial against me because I had a very strong case.

Just be happy and celebrate black love and two people teaming up and making moves together. I am reaching out to you as a grown up should. I don’t know what I did in your mind to justify you writing this trashy and untrue story about me. I never dated Lamar Odom-how bad is your comprehension if you keep thinking that? And of all the opportunities I have been presented I never took the short cut. So please don’t insult me! I have been working hard to distance myself from that Lamar thing. We had nothing. I wasn’t interested. Now print that. But I’m sure you won’t because it seems you are more interested in printing lies than the truth.

Why we got to destroy each other? WOW. Luckily Datari and I know the real-but this still sickens me that a brother is out here doing this nonsense. And if I was a gold digger I would have jumped at the plethora of millionaires that have been after me since i touched down in LA (UMMM NOT in 92-I was still in college then.) But you NEVER hear that about me. Anyone that knows me will tell you I’m not on that bullshit. Never have, never will be.

You are apparently suffering from a serious case of amnesia, so I don’t expect you’d remember me. But, if I were to wear a Miami Dolphins helmet, you’d probably remember me then…wouldn’t you? My editor actually was mistaken the year we met was 1994 or 1995… I do not have any beef with you. I simply editorialize POP CULTURE as I know it and many (like you) can’t seem to handle the truth when it’s presented to them or understandably don’t want to admit the truth. When one of my close friends tried to get at you, you told him that you only dated professional athletes. And, it’s widely known that gold diggers are primarily the women who target athletes — Just ask  Rihanna and Matt Kemp?

Please stop using the Marcus Garvey way out by calling me your “black brother.” Especially when you don’t do shit for me or the black community! My very credible sources have pointed to you as being a TAKER…plain and simple. My next call will be to the porn star, India, who says she has the goods on you and Puffy! The bottom line is this…it’s all comes down to supply and demand. I cover what my readers wish to read. In this particular case, (for whatever reason) they wish to know the dirt on you. So, if you don’t like it get out the limelight!

P.S.: I applaud you for purchasing that real estate with the NFL money… Good Job!
