A Friend of Scratch’s (Kyle Jones) Daughter writes in:
He isn’t broke he just doesn’t want to pay. It’s a shame he doesn’t take care of his daughter of 15 years old. He owes somewhere around $20,000 in back child support and never contacts her even after she finds out by the myspace that she now has a little brother. But when he does see her he buys her flashy expensive hip hop clothing that she doesn’t even like and won’t wear but can’t give her money towards anything. BIGGEST LOSER! I’ve known him since before she was born.

Kyle Jones aka Scratch, you remember him. He’s from the world famous crew “The Roots”!
Scratch’s role in the group was the human beat box. The height of his career coincided with his time with The Roots. It was 1999 and he was performing that years re-creation of Woodstock. How far we have all come, well scratch went backwards.
Scratch is also known for missing shows, not paying his bills, and now for failing to show up in court….
Know why?
Cuz he’s getting sued by promoters, managers, and his former attorneys mane…… His partner in crime for awhile was his former manager Fredrick Hollowman.
Fredrick is totally down with the human beat box Scratch and his delinquent ways. Who do you think some of the people suing Scratch sent the money too? Ask the concert goers in Taiwan, they’ll tell you…
You would swear up and down from his actions that Scratch is from a group that promotes niggativity.
Guess why? Dude got court judgments from cases he lost and he refuses to pay (see below). Is the human beat box aka Scratch broke? Why else would he be living with two roommates in the suburbs of Philly?

Before you post these kind of blogs you might want to do a little backround before you blast bullshit over the web. Ive known Scratch for 17 yrs now and he’s nothing but a great guy! As for this bullsit regarding him and a daughter…could this be the same girl(hoe) from Cherry Hill, NJ that claims she has a child with him???? That same bitch was fucking me while she was pregnant with that “daughter”! This same chick will try and fuck over any dude she feels has money!!! As far as I know Scratch didnt even go near that hoe but I know a train full of dudes that did:) Holla at me K, mabe we can link up like we use to back in the day. I’ve known Kyle since he got my friend pregnant who is not a hoe by any means and the person claiming to Troy is not Troy (probably Kyle since he was so jealous of Troy). Troy was a gentleman and a real man and would never spread lies about anyone. And Kyle’s daughter who looks exactly like her father is heartbroken that he put on his myspace something about his love for his son and supposed wife and nothing about his daughter and when she contacted him he didn’t have anything to say. He is such a loser when my friend was 7 months pregnant with his daughter he tried to punch her but fortunately the guy I was dating, who you used to be his best friend Carlos MArtinez (a.k.a Storm in the world music industry) was present with us and stopped him. This guy has always been wack. Even when The Roots were at their peak, he would be on the L with me! The cheapest dude I’ve ever met, with the biggest ego too. But, in all honesty, his baby mom is a hoe for real. Not a smart hoe getting knocked up by a d-lister. LMAO!

I was nervous booking Scratch after I seen this write up. I had him booked for 4 shows here in Europe. He showed and actually did an amazing show what a talented artist. Sold out 3 of my venues and people already want him to come back. I don’t believe this website or the rubbish posted. The booking agency I booked him through wasn’t the one posted here. Scratch you always good in my book goodluck with your work. Come back to europe soon your friend Ollie.
