New York cops arrested D’Angelo for solicitation this past weekend, after the Grammy Award winning R&B singer offered an undercover officer $40 for a blow-job.
It happened about 2:30 Saturday morning in Greenwich Village. That’s a place widely known to have transvestite prostitutes working the area. I’m sure D’Angelo was well aware of that fact while cruising through the neighborhood, but didn’t know that he was making a proposition to a female cop.
After the 36-year-old singer was arrested, cops uncovered $12,000 cash in his luxury Range Rover — this after getting ready to shell out just $40, for head.
Ever since D’Angelo’s video of him singing in the nude, I always knew he was suspect. By the way ladies – Only gay guys do that! Don’t believe me? Ask the English pop band “Right Said Fred”?
