I’m in the studio, doing my due diligence, to make my latest one of-a-kind project, stand apart from the rest. Now, I’m getting word that Jay Z, and Jack White (from “White Stripes”), and other known rappers like Q-Tip, Pharoahe Monch (working with the “Black Keys”), they’re also working on a rock album. Oh… How can I forget Sticky Finger’s, and his partner Fredro Starr are also doing the same. This begs me to ask the question… Are black artists going back to rock music? That may be the case.

Here’s the complete difference that sets my soon-to-be released album apart from others… I’m coming with Metal mane! And, I’m coming out to you, in a very dark and controversial manner. I’m set to be finished with the Deep Fried Memories album later next month. It will be ready available to you early 2010.

The name I’ve chosen for the the album – November 5th – holds great meaning to me. My friend and mentor of Blues music, the late great Ike Turner was born on November 5th. For those of you who don’t know, Ike’s Rocket 88 was the very first rock song to ever be released.

I’m tired of the generic rapper, and the DJ on the stage. For, they truly bore me. So, it’s time for us to start making real music, with live bands again…
