Whitney Houston’s Funeral Will Be Broadcast Worldwide

An insider is claiming that the Whigham Funeral Home sold the National Enquirer the photo of a dead Whitney Houston in an open casket. Don’t believe me.. Ask Rickey Minor.
“Jacky, I was negotiating a deal with someone over at the Whighams Funeral Home for a picture of a dead Whitney Houston.
My contact at the funeral home stopped taking my calls. Then yesterday I’m at the supermarket and I saw Whitney Houston in a casket on the Enquirer. I said to myself ‘I guess the Enquirer paid them more than I was offering’ .
The family thinks someone who attended the private viewing sold the photos, but they would never guess it was the Newark funeral home itself. That photo was worth well into six figures.
Is Cissy Houston pissed because the press is exploiting her deceased daughter’s picture? Of course she is. Don’t believe me.. Ask Cece Winans.

@ColoredGirl I thought of the exact same Shakespeare adage “Thou doth protest too much” when reading @Cammie’s replies and agree with you 100%. I won’t use the term rebuttal cuz all Cammie did was try to cuss people out and point the finger at the Houston family. There was no substance to the replies at all.
Since @Cammie feels the need to try and ‘go in’ on every damn comment that believes someone from the funeral home sold the pics, then something’s definitely up. Cammie obviously has strong ties (probably family) to the Whigham Funeral Home.

I have no idea if a photo of Whitney in a body bag versus Whitney in a coffin would garner more money, do you? And I won’t bother you to explain the correlation between a CEO of a bank hindering employees from taking photos.
However, maybe you can explain why it was reported that at the private viewing..”Houston dressed in all white, her slender body not in a coffin, but fully displayed for family and friends”.
Now, I ask you to think about who had access to the body while it was in the coffin because it wasn’t the family or friends. Selah

@WTF First off, you are obviously a Whigham. No doubt you are Carolyn Whigham who contacted TMZ to claim no one from your funeral home sold the Whitney casket pics. The funny thing is that TMZ slyly added a comment in the last sentence which reads verbatim; “FYI — eight days ago, someone shopped that pic to TMZ … we passed.” Granted that comment could have meant nothing but I found it rather interesting that it was included in the story about you or your employees denying taking the picture, Carolyn.
http://www.tmz.com/2012/02/25/whitney-houston-casket-dead-photo/#.T0kdWXm1Qj8
Secondly, you obviously do know whether a body bag or casket pic would be worth more money. I would not. Thing is, a body bag pic would be too obvious Carolyn, as would a pic taken with a proper camera. There would be no question as to who took that pic. Common sense.
Thirdly, I have no reason to research the Whigham family so I would not know that they own a chain of banks. Since you ‘enlightened’ us, owning a chain of banks would make it a hell of a lot easier to create or have access to an account for the National Enquirer to deposit payment for the pic we are discussing. It is common knowledge that the National Enquirer makes payment via family members, third parties etc. in order to muddy the waters, so to speak, regarding payment. Thanks for that little tidbit of information Carolyn. Who’s not thinking? LOL
Next, let me inform that whether you call yourself Cammie or WTF, your lack of simple grammar skills gives you away. Six year old kids know that sentences start with capitals as do names etc. I believe that your greedy, self-serving, disrespectful ass would have had no problem accepting $250,000 up front. Cash money. You capitalizing and exploiting the Houston family’s grief is absolutely sickening. You make me nauseous.

I think the family knew this picture was taken and perhaps intended to include it in the footage being sold.
What may have happened is a family member got greedy and beat the others to the punch. This family member saw little backfire because the family took the picture. They were assured their selling would be closed lipped.
Maybe the reason the family is not trying to sue is because they took the picture. People can be airbrushed out of pictures, and I believe several were taken and they chose the best shots. I do not believe the funeral home would give a reason for the people in Jersey to sling mud in their faces.

I’m sure being a pop star in entertainment is a gift & a curse. The curse is no matter what you & your loved ones are going thru its always “lights, camera, action”. It is not that hard to believe that Whitneys family members sold the picture to the tabloids. These are the same individuals who are selling her clothes and personal effects. Professional pictures were taken at the funeral of the attendees for future sale. None of this us surprising.
Whitney died with her brother, sister in law and others in the same hotel room. How much were they paid to ignore the fact that she was soaking in the bath tub, high as a kite and not check in on her for an hour? Then someone who was in that room took pictures of the death scene. I shocked that the picture of her submerged in the tub hasn’t surfaced, yet. Or, did they forget to do the before they took her out of the tub? Doubt it.

Wow. you all are going hard on people you don’t even you know. I know these funeral directors and since this stuff has happened they have been receiving death threats. if you read this article you’ll realized that while her body was guarded at ALL times while it was at the funeral home!…
The respected owner of Whitney Houston’s funeral home said Friday she’s “devastated” a photo of the singer in her open casket appeared on the cover of the National Enquirer.
Carolyn Whigham wants fans to know her family-run business did not sell the now notorious image and that she’s “horrified” by accusations her close-knit staff is to blame, she told the Daily News.
“We did not take that photo. We did not sell the photo. We would never do something like that,” the second-generation CEO of the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, N.J., said.
“Whitney was a friend,” she continued. “I’m the one who flew to Los Angeles and got Whitney from the coroner’s office. I did everything to protect her.”
She said a deluge of distressing emails from irate Houston fans now has her fearing for her staff’s safety.
“One email said that if the person owned a dog, and the dog died, they would not come to my funeral home,” she said with sadness. “I’m worried about my employees, worried about me. I’ve been in business since 1943. This is my name, my character. Honestly, this is my life’s work. We would never do something like this.”
She said Houston’s family has made it clear they do not blame her business.
“I am very confident they are on the same page with me. Family friend Tyler Perry was on the Steve Harvey (radio) show this morning, and he said emphatically he knows we did not do it,” she told The News.
She said security was with Houston the entire time her body was at the funeral home.

I call bullshit on the funeral home. Surely, Whitney’s body was secured by only a few people: staff, bodyguards, and family members. It’s not that damn hard to narrow down who did it. It had to be someone within that small, tight circle. The funeral home had Whitney’s body and was supposed to protect it, therefore, whether they snapped the pict or not, it happened while under their care. They are partially, if not totally, responsible.

I hear you Sunday Knight. I’m a certain that is what happened. Question is: who would do that? And how much were they paid?

@nate, A low down psychopath who would sell they mama did that. And they knew that picture was worth some big dough, so they made sure they had to be the first to snap it, and sell it to the highest bidder quick to ensure themselves a payday. They got at the very least $100k for it I’m sure.

Nice Jacky!
Interesting that the IP traces right to Newark, New Jersey. Isn’t that exactly where the Whigham Funeral Home is located? Yes it is. According to the Whigham funeral Home website the address is 580 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Newark, NJ 07102.
I said it before & I’ma say it again. YOU WHIGHAM’S ARE NOTHING BUT FKN JACKALS! Y’all also dumb as fk!

Well how else did the photo get out? Clearly the photo is at the Funeral home? Security was supposedly watching 24X7 right?
So who else is there to blame?

The only way that security would have left the room is when the family was present. This was a inside family job as their meal ticket was gone. This was the last great hustle as most of the money received from sell of her music will go towards paying Clive back.
[Reply]
My first inclination was the Houston family was behind this because Whitney was broke and they started charging for the funeral to help Bobbi K. For some reason Bobbi K and her ‘pretend’ brother came to mind first. It has to be an inside “Houston” family job because the all and out ANGER that you would think they would be expressing is just not there. What better way to give Bobbi K a little cash then selling a pic of her famous mom who left her broke?

Thank you Jacky for clearing that up for me. I think we got the best of (you know who)…lol. Mr. Imposter knows something (Slone’s reply in #17), and (Kandi’s reply in #27:asking why we are concerned). Okay, now I see why we haven’t heard anything more from @cammieking…hahahahahahaha, again. And yes, “Kelly”, we are going in hard on someone “most” of us don’t know.

LOL! They had the nerve to say we’re dumb and ‘not thinking’. I have one question for that clown: Who mad? AHAAAAAAA *Jadakiss laugh*

Is it even legal to publish ip addresses? IJS cause I’ve never seen that done before. Anyway…..I’m going with the theory Clive Davis did it since the family is saying he was in the room before they got there.

It is legal to publish IP addresses. They can be traced very easily to a general location. A specific location requires a subpoena I believe. The user of the IP we are discussing also uses Verizon as their service provider.
Just for the record, I am not associated with Jacky. I just read his blog. It took me only about 30 seconds to get general location and service provider info on the IP.
[Reply]
Does Clive Davis look like he would’ve, could’ve, should’ve took a picture? I guess friends are helping out now…lmao. You never seen IP addresses published before…there’s a first time for everything…”Common Sense 101″. Why are you concerned if it’s legal?
[Reply]
Oh, and one more thing…how could Clive go in before the family got there? Wouldn’t the family have to be first to make sure everything is ok? And where did you read that the family said that?
[Reply]
Jacky u only one that would put this up and block it out, but anyway it just said 2 say she’s gone and people are still running her name thru the mud. Every body gotta story 2 tell now. People want 2 still blame Bobby Brown its just a mess. Hopefully it will come out who sold the picture because they tried 2 sell it 2 TMZ but they didn’t buy it. People will do anythang 4 money whether its family or not. It dint necessary have 2 b the owner but it could have been a worker at the funeral home. Well either she gone let her RIP.
[Reply]
Well she is dead and gone let her rest. Only Whitney and God knows every thang that she was out there doing. What’s done in the dark shall always come 2 the light. I just don’t think her daughter needs 2 hear and see everythang people are sayin because that is her mother. People talkin about you like a dog when you alive and now that you are dead running your name thru the mud all the people with stories now this should have been told 2 save her why tell it now.
[Reply]
(my 2 cents) I don’t see anyone up here running her name thru the mud. I thought the topic was meant for us to discuss the issue. No one is blaming Bobby. This is just a grapevine to vent. Frankly, I think we were just having fun at messing with “Sybil”. Anyway, I know the truth will be revealed one day. It probably wouldn’t have got messy if the family would’ve just had an open coffin at the service. The world was already involved in her lifestyle anyway.

When I said people are running her name thru the mud it wasn’t towards anyone on here. I was just venting what I felt media was doing and some other blogs. At the end of the day every one is going 2 have their own opinions about this matter. I just feel 4 her daughter Bobbi Kristina that she has 2 hear all these negatives thangs about her mother.

#25: Jonathan’s reply. So the funeral home was right…they did know who took the picture. Sorry “Sybil” for jumping on the bandwagon. But I just got caught up in the mystery. I love a good mystery solving. My bad.
