Here’s what Lil Wayne said during his recent jailhouse interview:
“I call Drake at least once a week, but I actually call three or four times a week, but he only picks up to me once a week…Put in this position, I just feel like every time I pick up the phone to dial a number, I feel like I’m a bother, because I’m in jail. I don’t have nothing else to do but talk to you, and that might not be what you want to do at the time. I don’t know if that’s just a conscious thing, but…I always feel like I’m bothering. I call Mack Maine every single day, and I know I get on his nerves, but he answers every time.”
Here’s what I gotta say about this situation:
Drake is making $150K a show, and he’s only on his first album. Drake is a rookie in the music business. Sources say Drake is secretly dating Rihanna behind her boyfriend Matt Kemp’s back…dude is on top of the world right now, and is on his way to going platinum.
He’s most likely to win (on all the award shows) New Artist Of The Year. So, is Drake feeling himself? YES!!
Dude has Jay Z and Eminem on speed dial. Has Drake now forgotten about Wezzy? No. But he’s got better things to do than talk to Lil Wayne on the phone.
Did Drake forget who put him on? I don’t know, but I’m sure he’ll call Wayne when he needs him. I thought both of these guys were collaborating on a album together? And isn’t Wayne eating off the profits of Drake’s albums? Will Drake be relevant in a few years? I don’t think so…unless he gets into doing movies (isn’t that why they signed him in the first place?) Drake isn’t really a rapper, he’s a actor.
So why is Wezzy complaining? He’s going to be huge when he’s out of jail. Know why? Because he’s going to have street credibility mane.
I say let Drake enjoy his shine…he’s just another face that represents the metrosexual era…Hey Hey Hey!!!

I hear what -u- saying but if the people are on William Roberts aka the fake Rick Ross jock and he was a correctional officer…people can’t wait to buy officer Ricky’s bullshit records…People like fake stuff but I’m saying since Lil Wayne is in jail of course he’ll be in PC because if he was in population & something was to happen to Wayne Rikers jail will have a mean law suit on their hands…But with Wayne doing some jail time that will make him more creditable than most of these rappers.
