Drug Sting Q&A With Ronald Richards – Beverly Hills Super Attorney

QUESTION:

On June 5th of this year, the home of my sister and brother-in-law was raided by the local sheriff’ and deputies. They found pills, ledgers and cash. Apparently, one of them sold pills to a confidential informant.

About 3 weeks later this deputy sheriff comes to my house and asks me if I knew they were selling drugs, I say no and he says that my name is on the ledger for some money. I don’t even respond to this. He asks me if he can come in and search my house and I say no, he then says well that means you have something to hide and I just walk away and he leaves.

About a week or so later this deputy sends me a message through my sister’s myspace login, saying that he has connected me to my sister’s Florida drug ring. He states that he knows when I went and where I got the prescriptions filled, and who was with me, and that if I have any questions, or want to get anything off my chest I should call him before the door slams shut. What do you make of all this?

Do not consent to have your house searched. Find out who the deputy is that accessed
your sister’s myspace page. Do not have any drugs or illegal contraband in
your house in case they search it. Be careful if your sister or anyone
calls you to talk about illegal narcotics trafficking.
