Eminem Proves Elton John is The Token Gay Guy

It seems that Eminem is being quite honest these days about EVERYTHING. That’s because the rapper recently admitted to almost losing his life to a drug overdose.

Here’s what the Grammy Award winning rapper had to say:

“It took me awhile to admit what I actually did have a problem. In the hip hop world that I live in, It could be mistaken for a weakness and that’s the last thing you want to do in hip hop is to admit that you’re weak. I was hours away from death when I overdose and almost died. I had to admit I had a problem. I had to do it for myself.”

Don’t you appreciate Eminem’s honestly? The recovering drug addict has even shared his views on same sex marriage. “I think if two people love each other, then what the hell? I think everyone should have the chance to be equally miserable, if they want,” said Eminem.

I’m not at all surprised at Em’s approval of same sex marriage…wasn’t he the only rapper to perform with Elton John on stage at the Grammy’s, back in 2001? I heard the gay community was pissed at Elton John for performing with Em. Nevertheless, black America didn’t care about their Grammy performance – I know I didn’t. But white America looked to have loved it so much that Lady Gaga copied it by doing a duet with Elton John at this past January’s Grammy Awards.

I’m tired of artists using Elton John to prove that they’re cool with the gay community. Elton John has officially become the token gay guy. Don’t believe me? Ask Rush Limbaugh.
