Global Grind is a good site with a few good people but I’m extremely pissed about a few things regarding Uncle Russ’ newest venture for numerous reason’s.
Here it is: They know over at Global Grind that HollywoodStreetKing.com is the real deal.
We don’t write like anyone else…know why? ‘Cuz we don’t need an investor mane… We write because we have something to say, because there’s people that need to hear it, and ‘cuz we don’t give a fuck!
The truth will hurt those who are pretentious…humility is a virtue! Unfortunately our youth has lost direction… Is it because their heroes are complete failures that haven’t contributed something truly genuine to pop culture since Survivor hit the airwaves? I hear people talking but all they’re doing is lying; not to me but to the youth of America.
I know Russ and BlackSpot aren’t dumb guys…but that actually makes my point even stronger! With the amount of eyes that Global Grind has and the amount of influence it potentially has ought to obligate them to bringing this community what it truly needs: STRAIGHT TALKING. Come on Russell, did you really think that Kim Kardashian was a good choice for your charity event? Yeah, I remember what you said and playing “politics” isn’t an excuse.
You got a lot of money and doing bullshit things like giving a fucking scholarship to some kid once a year that got straight A’s and “over-came their obstacles” in the ghetto doesn’t mean shit. That person was already gonna get outta the ghetto Russ, and you know it. It’s not enough to preach to the choir of squares like you, you gotta give it to them in a flavor they like – sometimes even if it’s tits and ass.
Perhaps a better use of resources ought to be directed to the kids that aren’t inclined towards education or have been oppressed into rejecting crime-free lives? Could you really affect them though? Not with the same watered-down, safe, rhetoric you feature on GlobalGrind. Necole Bitchie isn’t going to spark any minds to enlightenment.
These kids need the truth, they need that spark towards a higher perspective; that’s what affected you. didn’t it?
Why does Russell give people like Amber Rose and others like her a stage? I thought Russell was a wise individual. Guess I’ve been wrong all this time and I must admit you can’t judge a man by his wealth….I might be wrong but that’s the message I learn from the teachings of Jesus Christ!
Hey Russell: People like Amber Rose are bad for our youth…know why? The youth of America will follow her to the pit of hell and you know it. Sites like Global Grind have declared war on Hollywoodstreetking.com but they’ll steal ideas from us. I wonder where they came up with the idea Comment of The Month? Now the people over at Global Grind are addressing their boss Russell Simmons as Hustle Simmons. we started that shit.
You guys over at Global Grind are no different than the oppressor. You and archaic media platforms like BET are like a Dark & Lovely perm kit. They’re trying to straighten out and destroy our nappy culture. By the looks of it they’re doing a pretty good job.

I had to comment on this. I can feel you on all this. We have been posting on gg.com for a couple of months and the shit is crazy. We had stories we posted put on the front page going to Necole Bitchie’s site. Not saying she stole it. But, shit we can tell time we know we posted the story before her! We have stopped posting on there all together. The other bloggers will figure it out soon. Then they will see who needs who, because Necole Bitchie and Blogxilla can’t carry that site alone! What’s the deal over there?
