Gucci Mane Faces Up To 20-Years In The Tank…December 4th, 2013
Gucci Mane has been officially charged in federal court with gun crimes. The Ice Cream Man’s court proceedings went down on Tuesday. He’s now looking at two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon.
This latest case is connected to the pair of September incidents, when prosecutors say the rapper — whose real name is Radric Davis — “showed a gun and threatened police.” That’s according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.
“Each felony gun possession charge carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.”
Here’s what the federal prosecutor had to say:
“On September 12, 2013, Davis, who was a felon at the time, was found in possession of a firearm. Then, just two days later, on September 14th, he again possessed a firearm different from the earlier gun. On both occasions, Davis displayed the loaded firearm, acted erratically, and made threats to individuals, including police and his attorney.”
Are Gucci Mane’s adversaries rejoicing over his incarceration? Of course. Don’t believe me.. Ask Waka Flocka.
