Most of us watched the Super Bowl game on Sunday and if you watched the game you saw the pop icon Madonna’s halftime show and guess what–Madonna’s performance was so weak that to enhance her show Madge, invited her Jolly Negro friends to share the stage. Don’t believe me.. Ask Andy Lewis (he’s Madonna’s tightrope walker).
Madonna did what she does best, that’s lip syncing and when Cee Lo Green took to the stage I was like “what is this nicca doing” Dude looked like Missy Elliott in her video She’s a Bitch.
Nicki Minaj was there too but I forgot what she did. Know why? Because British pop star, and fake revolutionary, M.I.A. stole the show by giving the audience her middle finger.
Then Cee Lo Green appeared again during Madonna’s closing song Like a Prayer and dude looked like a black blob that should be terminated by Bill Murray and the rest of the Ghostbusters.
While Madonna and her jolly Negroes was headlining as halftime entertainment, Madge’s homeless brother Anthony Ciccone was chilling in the stadiums parking lot.
Here’s what Madonna’s homeless brother Anthony Ciccone had to say about his sister:
“My sister’s a multimillionaire, but she earned it. I have to give her credit for that.
But you’d think there’d be some more family loyalty, and that’s not the case.
Just to communicate would be nice.”
Why did Interscope Records-Live Nation sign Madonna to a $40 million 360 Deal ? I don’t know, nor do I care. Know why? Because I think Madonna’s music is the worst mane. Don’t believe me.. Ask Elton John.
Yes, Jacky – that was pretty bad. And I heard some pundits saying it was the best Halftime show ever. Yeah, right. Time for Madonna to sit down. And please do not have Justin Bieber do the Halftime show next year. You know it’s coming.

The only part of that lame ass show was when LMFO did their little dance and she even fuck that up. I was hoping she slipped and bust her ass trying to dance in them skinny ass heels. And was I the only one who caught the shade she did towards Janet Jackson. Lame as bitch. Prince turned the Superbowl into his own concert. By the time he left the stage, I forgot there was a football game left to finish. Madonna’s performance made me wish the game was back on. Didn’t Gene Simmons knock the SBC’s choice, due to her lipsyncing issues? He remarked she hadn’t sung live in YEARS and everyone in the business knows it.

technically, the half time was righteous. madonkey and see no peen need to quit. cee no peen (i call him that cause he aint seen himself below the waist in awhile) has a voice but you can only stomach one song before you tire of his sonic siren of a voice.

Remember when Madonna first came out had such a black sound, Sire records did not do any media that let people know Madonna was white, because if she wasn’t able to cross over to larger audience the could still recoup off the singles sold. Madonna was only being played on black radio stations, if you was in Philly it was Power 99 FM. Madonna was like 4 singles deep into her album before we knew she was white. Remember Everybody, Holiday, Borderline, and Lucky Star.

I remember that. I’m from Trenton, NJ. My sister worked in a record store at the time. I loved me some Madonna back then. I didn’t know she was black for a minute. I didn’t know until she did Holiday on American Bandstand. But back then, any artist that was white and had first come out with a song on black radio they never put their face on the records for a while. They waited to see if the songs and artists took off first. They did that with a few artists back in the day.

I loved “80′s” Madonna. Even now when I hear her old stuff, I can’t help but want to get up and dance. Her Super Bowl performance had no energy. It seemed like she just did her choreographed moves and that was it. I felt no energy from her at all and even her movements seemed “clunky.”
Still love her but that whole thing was lackluster.

Personally, I still think Prince had the best halftime show ever. Yet, I went on some blogs, people were criticizing him too! People even said they didn’t like Springsteen, Petty or McCartney or ANY Halftime act that has ever played. I think there’s such a high bar of it being a halftime show, that it doesn’t matter who is on the bill..no one really will like them. I was tired of seeing Ceelo all over the place. I know they have to pimp the Voice but c’mon. Apparently, Nicki had no drawers on so I don’t know if she tried to garner attention but the “fake revolutionary” (good call, Jacky!) beat her to it. So not sure why she had been pimping her appearance on Madonna’s new song or the SB because nothing new was brought to the table. As for Madonna, I remember seeing her when I was 7 yrs old on American Bandstand back in 1983. People had similar comments about her then. She still acts the same minus the kids, accent, older but it’s the same Madonna. She’s never going to change. I’ll leave it at that.

Madonna was on Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show a few days ago. She said she doesn’t read entertainment news and doesn’t understand why other people do. What? Aren’t you in the business of entertainment and celebrity? Aren’t those businesses heavily dependent on fan interest and media coverage?
Then, this morning I see a commercial promoting Madonna’s 2012 concert tour. I’ll pass.

Oh my word….i have been trying to get people to see for many years,since the 80s that Madonna was/is very overrated. I have never understood what the hype was about Madonna. Back in the day she was propped up so high and she can’t even really sing and all she did was use sensationalism to create a show. She did things on stage that would cause some kind of controversy. If you peel back all the layers of hype surrounding Maddona and said to her just sing accapella…..she would be lost. I am so glad people are finally seeing her for the less then average artist she is. Enough said!!

Madonna did the jeweler’s trick: When you have a flawed diamond or gem you surround it with smaller ornamental diamonds and such to hide that fact, whereas a high quality diamond or gem can be set in a ring by itself. She can’t stand alone. MJ, Prince and Diana Ross can.

I found her performance ok, but unlike Michael Jackson and Prince, she was unable to carry a show by herself. She needed help from popular, younger, urban artists in order to get ratings. People were hailing this performance like the mother of all performances. They must don’t know their history, but I do.

I think there was a backlash against the initial backlash. I think that’s why people started saying that. I still say it was Prince. When he did Purple Rain, that was just amazing and the only time I ever watched a halftime show in full.
