Recently Cash Money Records CEO’s, Bryan “Birdman” Williams and his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams sat down for an interview with Billboard magazine and guess what–Bryan “Birdman” Williams said “YMCMB is looking to make the jump to gospel“.
Here’s what the CEO’s of YMCMB had to say:
‘We need to dominate Pop, Gospel, Country—we’re a brand so we should be able to put out all these types of music. We just got to keep grinding.
YMCMB has dominated the hip-hop, pop and R&B charts for a while now, and we’re looking to make the jump to gospel.”
Will Gospel artist line up to be signed to Cash Money Records? I don’t know, but I so know Bryan “Birdman” Williams is responsible for putting out some of the most decadent entertainment in the music industry.

Yall already sucked the life and creativity out of hip hop, now that yall sucked all the blood out your on to find another warm body Cash Money? How u gonna go from baby kissing wayne, nicky menage the psychoslut, wayne wearing leopard print hot pants to gospel music? Just cuz most “preachers” are nothing but prosperity pimps (any man who takes womens money regularly w/o giving them anything in return is a pimp mayne!) that doesnt mean thugs can sell gospel too!

Cash Money’s brand is “TRASH.” Mainstream “gospel” music (and I use that loosely) is bad enough. All YMCMB will do is further it’s demise by making it more dumbed down and commercialized.
