Ask Jacky… “Kickin’ Weed & Cigs”

“hey jacky, long time fan of ya music, fan of ya blog. I read recently you quit smoking, which is something i want to do. First of all well done, stick with it mane it’s a great thing you doing. Maybe you should change your banner considering it pictures you with a smoke in your mouth ? Want I want to know is, you still smoking weed? I smoke both, i’d like to quit weed first then the ciggies.

Any advice ?”

Hey Ricky, thanks for asking for my advise. I believe that I can truly help you to kick both cigarettes and marijuana, because if I did it…you can do it too!

I first kicked my weed habit because I was smoking too much of it, and it was becoming to costly. It was also slowing me down (you wouldn’t think pot can slow you down when you’re addicted to it, but once you quit you notice that you’re much more witty and you sleep better).

It’s a proven fact that California has the best Kush in the world, so I was smoking the best stuff. I was also a Kush consultant…somewhat like a wine taster, but I was also an addicted smoker, and wrote about the various strains the dispensary gave me (about an ounce of different bud every 2 to 3 days).

I was so addicted that I would have my Kush shipped to me, from Cali to where ever I vacationed…and it kept me fully supplied, that is until I once ran out in Miami. That’s where I ran into this dude who gave me some weed…full of stems and seeds. I smoked it and a cigarette felt better so I said to myself if I can’t get California Kush to smoke, I quit. I didn’t smoke weed for the rest of my vacation, because I couldn’t get Kush in Florida, so I decided to detox. I stayed in the bottom of the United States for a month, and when I returned to Hollywood I continued saying NO to Kush. It’s now been a year, and I feel good.

I always thought I would be unable to quit smoking cigarettes, because I’ve been smoking since I was 14-years-old, so I thought I was going out like Patrick Swayze. But one day (almost two months ago) I had one cigarette left in my pack and I said to myself this is my last cigarette and I’m done with this fucked up habit.

Guess what? I never looked back it was harder for me to quit smoking cigarettes than to kick an expensive marijuana habit. Know why? The temptation of nicotine is everywhere. You see billboards of people smoking…when you’re walking to the gym you see people smoking in the street…but I’ve have to learn to block it out and keep it moving because I love me mane and that shit is going to kill you like it did John Wayne.

Since I’ve quit smoking both cigarettes and marijuana I eat better, work-out longer, my skin complexion is better, I get a proper rest and I fuck the chics longer…

I believe those are good reasons for quitting POT & CIGARETTES. Don’t you agree?
