Just months before the World Cup, the captain of England’s national soccer team was stripped of the role over a seamy sex scandal. John Terry, 29 and married, had an affair with a teammate’s girlfriend—even paying for an abortion—and then tried through lawyers and, reportedly, hush money to keep things quiet. “The situation was becoming worse by the day,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “(Coach) Fabio (Capello) needed to protect the team.”
“I fully respect Fabio Capello’s decision,” Terry said in a statement to the Sun. “I will continue to give everything for England.” Meanwhile, Vanessa Perroncel, the 28-year-old French lingerie model on the other end of the relationship, denied she’d been paid off, and said she wouldn’t take tabloids’ money to talk.

You’re right Johnny R-Americans haven’t yet been gripped by the soccer fever that is at large in the rest of the world. It’s a long shot, but this seedy scandal might generate some interest when the US play England in South Africa in June.
Sporting interests aside, this story has all the ingredients of a classic biblical tale of debauchery and sin. Without sugar-coating it in any way, this Perroncel is a total slapper. She’s been a groupie for years, and has been with lots of celebrities, including members of Boyzone, and, reportedly, FIVE members of the Chelsea team. This makes me wonder about the story of Adrian Mutu, who was kicked out of Chelsea for using cocaine, and is being forced to pay a £16 million fine. He pleaded that his cocaine use wasn’t to improve his sporting performance, but was to enhance his sexual experience. Considering that Ms Perroncel liked fast-living celebrities, and considering that she was reputedly banging Mutu, I wonder does she like to have cocaine blown up her anus with a straw? She might be walking around with a £16 million ring-piece.
Anyway, being a typical female, it seems as if she was only ever after one thing (she is supposed to have once said that her ambition was to marry a footballer), and was ready to sell her story to the highest bidding tabloid newspaper, with the help of publicist Max Clifford. However, it was John Terry who came in with the highest bid (in the region of £800,000) to keep her quiet. Stories are still circulating that Terry was acting as her comforter, but then seduced her while she was vulnerable following her break-up with his Chelsea and England team-mate Wayne Bridge. It doesn’t seem like she was a stranger to the cock, though.
Meanwhile, her and Terry’s antics have publicly disgraced her ‘friend’ Toni Poole, and if there’s any female that might be entitled to her few quid it’s Toni Poole. She will stand to make about £20 mil if she divorces serial cheat, Terry.
When Terry was sacked, his manager advised that he see a shrink, as he seems to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. That being said, he is still putting in great performances for Chelsea, but how long will it be before the house of cards comes tumbling down?
