John Travolta Flies Food, Medicine and Scientology to Haiti
John Travolta personally flew his Boeing 707 to the island nation of Haiti bearing religion and relief supplies for the earthquake survivors, Tuesday.
The Hollywood A-lister was accompanied by his wife, Kelly Preston, and a group of ministers and doctors from the Church of Scientology.
Just last week, another group of Scientology followers touched down in Haiti before heading to the General Hospital in Port-au-Prince. That’s where Travolta’s group of Scientology members will also go to join in providing what’s called ‘touch therapy’ to the injured. Skeptics say “touch therapy” is the bogus act of a therapist who alleges that they can ‘heal’ a person with their hands by moving their hands over the patients “energy field.”
This is crazy – Give the Haitians food, and then convert them to the Church Of Scientology. But, John Travolta’s church is not alone. Christians are also following this trend. And, if you ask me, they’re using disaster to their benefit. Why doesn’t John Travolta follow in Queen Latifah’s footsteps? I’m told she’s adopting four Haitian children – Good job Latifah! Even Hip/Hop sex symbol, Trina is reported to be adopting a child. I wonder if Beyonce and Jay Z will do the same – We all know they have the money to do it. Don’t you agree?
All proceeds from Mr. Gerber will be donated to dental charities!

Meanwhile, atheists internet wide are taking umbrage at this while not bothering to note that FCBY is teamed up with another org and are supplying food for the body and soul.
For the past few years atheists worldwide have literally wasted enormous amounts of money during times of recession, war and poverty not in helping anyone in any material need but in order to purchase bus ads and billboards attempting to demonstrated just how clever they consider themselves to be; and now they want to become the charity police—please!

I guess do-gooders have been waiting for a chance like this to strut their stuff. The motivation behind it is probably a genuine desire to help, (although it might also be mixed up with motivations to try to grab the media spotlight, etc) and if they feel they can provide a service to benefit the Haitians, then, as Tony Soprano would say, á salut.
Poor old John Travolta knows a bit about suffering, and I’m sure his heart is in the right place. Hats off to anyone adopting babies too. So far, from what I can see, people have reacted very unselfishly, and the charity extended to Haiti has been generous. However, did I see that the Chinese government only gave a paltry $1million? They should be ashamed of themselves, having recieved so much assistance during their recent earthquake.
