Where every wanna be actor/musician/producer/director (I think you get where I’m going) come to “strike it BIG” in the meantime they fold me a half ass burrito at the local taco bell or wipe up our table after a long night at the local club, I don’t see them very actively pursuing ANYTHING!
Maybe I’m wrong BUT I still see HollyWeird as a place where if you seek it’s pretty easy to find. The key is DO SOMETHING. Don’t tell ME about your new album or your script you wrote and are just waiting to hear something, while you are bagging my groceries….. for god sakes get your ass out there and make it happen! I don’t want to hear “my agent is on it”…(By the way agents are NEVER on it until they see you have something created on your own to make it worth their interest). Fact is agents get a piece of you and if “you” is the dude bagging my chicken and milk then you have no agent brotha!
Don’t come to LA and “hope” to strike it big people. Come out here and kick this towns ass…Run the place or go home! There are way too many of you relying on that “hope” I step over you everyday on the street as I go “make it happen” for myself. Get up…Get yours…or go away!
