Lauren Hill is NOT on Drugs!

by Jacky Jasper

Apparently, there was an incident in NJ this past Friday. The Post reports:

LAURYN Hill has a new hobby. On Friday, the former Fugee was at the Essex Equestrian Center in West Orange, NJ, asking for a riding lesson. “She just wandered in right off the street,” said our source.”

I was never into to her or her fucking group The Fugees. I was a total outcast when her and the Fugees were hot. I can’t take all that, “I am black, black, black” stuff in music. It’s old. I know my culture. I don’t need to hear it all day.

Matter of fact I don’t need to hear about my holocaust, your holocaust, his holocaust, or her holocaust. We all had one. Please tell the angry black dudes to stop and tell the Jewish dudes in Hollywood we get it. Please stop making these holocaust films.

Lauren Hill, she wasn’t from Haiti. She was from Jersey. Her other 2 band mates were Haitian. She figured they had more culture than her and she wanted to be blacker than black. She found her King Rohan Marley. This guy is blacker than black. He introduced her to the Rastafarian cult.

This dude Rohan (son of Bob Marley) had her reading scriptures from the bible when she collected her Grammy award. I knew they were both fucking nuts back then. Lauren thought this guy was her messiah. She thought Rohan practiced what he preached….. Time proved he didn’t.

Lauren found out she was just another baby mama to Rohan. She cut her dreadlocks off, left Jamaica, and moved her ass back to the States. The damage was already done. The cult had already mentally fucked her up.

Religion and cults can do this to feeble humans and Lauren Hill was the victim of a cult. She was also the victim of putting her trust in a man. Insanity was her reward for the search of her black culture and someone should have told her that cults are for weak minded individuals.

What do you think drove this talented woman off the edge? Was it religion? Was it childbirth? Or was it her man Rohan Marley? You make the call. I did and that is all a part of the climb up the Ladder Of $ucce$$

I don’t know her personally, I never met her…but she just always seemed insecure to me. And far more naive and immature than folks would admit to. I know her image was that of a strong woman, but from what I’ve seen of her, it always seemed to me like just that, an image. Just a facade to hide psychological/emotional insecurity…which leaves a person like you say completely vulnerable.

I can’t venture to guess where it came from. That’s another story.

But I think a person like that, with those sort of issues, they probably end up going off the deep end one way or another eventually.

I THINK SHE IS A VERY STRONG BLACK WOMAN. SHE’S VERY SMART, AND JUST WOULD LIKE TO BE WITH HER FAMILY. SOMETIMES PEOPLE JUST NEED TO BACK OFF THAT’S IT.

Someone’s either a hater or angry…maybe a little of both. Why write about something solely to bash it. #someone needs a hug.

I second that…maybe see someone about ways to deal with anger..people do make mistakes..maybe she dont want to be in the spotlight no more..we will never know… no need to attack her like that

    hello there,

i wanted to contact you about the lauryn hill concert i just attended at the House of Blues in atlantic city. i have to tell you it was the absolute worst performance i have ever seen. it is the only concert i have ever walked out on. lauryn came out over 3 hours late and then fell apart. people stopped dancing and starting starring in disbelief. everyone walked out. she was a disgrace. she kept wiping her face with a towel. she seemed like she was high on crack. i want my money back from her. she does not deserve a dollar for her performance. i thank you for your time.

Maybe she wants people to quit making her into this “iconic” illusion that we tend to place on celebrities (as if they’re beyond us mortal humans). Maybe what she put out in her earlier music was really who she was and they wanted to change her bc of her new “iconic” status. Maybe she couldn’t get w/ that & got lost 1nce fans turned on her over this “song rights” business and saw it all is hollywood. There are higher ups who also don’t care for artist to pump out too much “realness” and WILL tarnish ur name before its too much so no one will lsiten. The rest…the baby, failed relationship, and maybe drugs…idk, carried her to the edge to even sabotage her own “iconic” status giving pple something to talk about. Maybe not an appropriate way to handle it BUT “grudge” is a h3ck of an emotion =(d

Good even ladies and gents,im writing cause i sat here reading this blog and the comments and all I can say is wowwww. Why I say that is beause if any one here has lived long enough or has experienced life before we should have learnred one thing about life, and that is life always take you places you never thought u would go wheather illiterately or naively. I think we all need to remember that its not what you go through its how u get through it,cause were gonna go through stuff till we leave this earth and i think we can all agree. The bigg deal is if you go through it as a praying worrior, without hurting anyone ,and i know ya’ll know what i mean like killing stealing sacrificing ect. you would have gain something huge and the rewards seem invisible now but slow is sure, and better late than never.I want that the next time ya’ll see this young lady MISS HILL please recognize the fact that she is in growing process, she is actually growing up right before our eyes, so she fell couple times in our face she is going get up cause us black woman were built like that but dont judge less ye be judge.Remember that cultural differnces, and living are not factor when your in love cause love can make u do the strangest things L.O.L peace out ya’ll and give thanks to the CREATOR of all life because only he knows all and can explain all so at the end if you ask for wisdom and understanding it is then he will reveil the overstanding to you one love.
