Lil Wayne don’t Listen to Hip Hop???
He’s normal like every good musician and good rapper. Lil Wayne does not listen to rap (but he drops a mixtape every month.)
Speaking for myself I love to rap and I loved listening to rap. Years ago I couldn’t wait to write songs about squares. I spoke about getting money, bitches, drugs, the good life. Which I was living and I still am.
No fake’in in my game. I wrote what I knew. And most of us rappers did. I never knew some of the other guys were lying in their song about their extravagant lifestyle. Who cares? They made it sound good but then came the downfall of rap. Kids without street cred, MTV and BET with commercial radio did a good job on fucking up black music in general.
If you kill black music what are the white kids and latino kids going to do? Black music is the source. I now listen and play Heavy Metal music (wait till u hear what am doing with metal.)
To me playing Metal is like playing Jazz. That shit Daddy Yankee and Pit Bull be doing. That’s Calypso music fused with Dancehall music. It’s all black music.
The Fucked up thing about it is the people who listen to all forms of black music will still call a black person a NIGGER (Paris Hilton) and some club owners throughout the world will have the nerve to play black music in their club’s and those same club owners will make it hard for a black male to get into their bullshit club.
Fuck all your clubs tell the sell out Persians they could have it. Everybody wants to be a nicca in the club, maybe that’s why they don’t wanna see the real one, and if there’s black dudes in the club when you get in you surrounded by a bunch of fucking nigga’s that act like Seal, Akon and Puffy all entertaining master.

I’m a white country boy. I once heard a theory about music, expressed by Ludvig von Beethoven – ‘there are only two types of music : good music and bad music’. 1 or 2 hundred years later, and I still think it’s correct.
I reckon I’ve a good ear, and even on an instrumental piece, could hear if someone’s playing just for the sake of it.
I know it’s arrogent to be critiquing other people’s music, when I don’t play music myself, but here is a few artists (in no particular order, and off the top of my head) that I listen to and think are good:
Genesis, Kool Keith, Michael Jackson, Kurupt, E-40, Iron Maiden, James Brown, Prince, (there was a lot of good music in the 80s), Herbie Hancock, The Prodigy, H-Bomb, Thin Lizzy, Roger Troutman, 2Pac and Biggie have to be in there, Too Short, Ice T, Analogue Brothers was incredible, Guns n Roses, Queen, Jimi Hendrix .. there are plenty more, of course, but they’re the ones that spring to mind.
A few I’d put in the bad category are : Common (sorry), but he’s only one of many shit rappers, Eminem, that asshole who sings ‘I kissed a girl’ (write a song about snowballing and I’ll get back to you, tramp), all other feminist songs weakly trying to get 1 up over men – there are a plethora of them in the 2000′s, and it’s pathetic. Braindead men just go along with it and grow tits, which is even worse, James Blunt, Coldplay… I can’t even name much more coz there’s too much shit out there to name, and it’s too distressing to think of the decline.
That raw spirited music is a precious flame that needs to be preserved at all costs.
I’m trying to refine my music collection to the real aristocrats, the ones you’ll never see the likes of again. I think I have a good start made with the above mentioned artists, but would welcome all your suggestions, comments etc.

i know personally he gets off the stage during shows in Europe… (Sweden and Holland specifically) Common gets off the stage and takes the 15 & 16 year old girls at the show to the back room for “afterparty”

First off the guitar was around since the middle ages and the first modern guitar was made in spain in the late 1500′s and as you know there wernt many black people in sapin during the 1500′s and les paul did help in creating the electric guitar but he wasnt black.
