Look to the past for what your future might hold~

by Jacky Jasper

Hip/Hop is not dead but it got one foot in the grave.

When funk was on it’s way out, they started using the vocoder the talk box, etc… Eerily similar to today, how hiphop has now turned to the Auto-tune (NO TALENT OR SKILL REQUIRED)

Everybody wants to be Roger Troutman. Black people are not buying it and white people are fed-up.  I am hearing too many complains from the kids on the streets.  They want it to be dead. They are not buying it.

What do you listen to now?

Kanye will never getaway with this shit again. Lets not forget his first performance on SNL he forgot his lyrics, these poor ass attempts are not worthy of someone who considers themselves the TOP of their game. I am no hater, when I say Kanye is just a hack, its the truth.

yeah…when the shit first started to go downhill, nobody really stepped up and called BS…

seems like most cats just sat back, collected their royalties, advancements, and endorsements and didn’t say SHIT when hip hop first started getting infected…

nowadays, black folks are scrambling with what’s left of hip hop while white folk (i.e., EMINEM) cash in BIG.

on one hand, hip hop / rap is a cesspool and on the other hand it’s WWF…and the worst part about it is a lot of cats are STILL SLEEPING…
