‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ Cast Members Strike For Mo’ Moneyby Jacky Jasper
HSK Exclusive - The New York cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ are reported to be holding out on season four…for more money. Days ago, Yandy Smith, Joe Budden, Erica Mena, Olivia Longott, Rich Dollaz and Tahiry Jose reportedly pulled a no-show at a scheduled day of trailer-shooting.
We’re told though they weren’t there, a bunch of aspiring reality stars did show up, hoping to fill the empty spots. But, L’Oreal, Rashidah Ali, and some new chick named Yummy Bingham didn’t miss a beat. Know why? Because sources say their attendance proved they’re not giving up their time to shine. Despite all of that, sources say Mona Scott Young would have a hard time introducing new characters and stories to the show.
Here’s the drop:
“VH1 might have to move the show to another city because they’re going to find out it’s not that easy to cast hip hop dudes from New York.
Consequence, Jen the Pen, Winter Ramos and Rocky Thunda are not coming back to show, they’re all being replaced. VH1 is not trying to give in on the strike, because if they do. The ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ cast, might follow and do the same.”
