Mainstream & Internet Media Perpetuate False Michael Jackson $200 Million Deal Story!

HSK EXCLUSIVE

You can’t always believe all that you see on television or read in the papers, and that may hold true when it comes to recent reports of Sony Music Entertainment signing a multi-million dollar record-breaking deal with the The King of Pop’s estate to retain distribution rights to Michael Jackson’s recordings until 2017.
Now, one top music industry insider is pointing to the mainstream media as being both inaccurate and “lazy.” That’s according to one very credible HSK source, who says for the numbers to add up, MJ would have to “die again” in order for Sony to sell the 50 million units needed to come out of the deal.
Our source tells us that few reporters expressed skepticism to the so-called record-braking deal, and even fewer checked the facts.
Countless reports of Sony selling 31 million MJ records just last year, are flooding the airwaves. Two-thirds of those sales are said to be made overseas, but the US entity which tracks the sales of music and music video products, proves otherwise. US Nielsen SoundScan recorded last year’s MJ sales at 8.3 million — multiply that number by three and you get 24.9 million, a far cry from 31 million sales.
Now, it’s evident that almost every site and countless local news stations reported false information about this record deal, and I’m sure this story doesn’t stand alone.
When Michael Jackson was alive, people shot at him. Now that The King of Pop is dead, they’re quick to dub him the savior of a dying music industry.
Both MJ and Marvin Gaye were both broke when they died, yet each Motown anniversary everyone shows up to give the conniving thief Berry Gordy praise. Society is full of liars and hypocrites, and as my friend Chuck D. said it best: “Don’t believe the hype!” I don’t, do you?
Liars and hypocrites-echo that!
