Mariah Carey seems to be taking it all back to where she started, as competition grows in her relationship with Nick Cannon.
Now, industry insiders expect MiMi to join with ex-husband, Tommy Mottola’s label, for release of a Valentine’s Day album. The album is said to be in tribute to Nick. But, trouble is said to be brewing in the pair’s marriage. That’s because sources say Nick is bothered by Mariah’s success on the silver screen.
“I think it bothers him that Mariah is a hotter film property than he is right now,” says a source. “Nick told Mariah early on how fickle Hollywood is and she shouldn’t get her hopes up to be a movie star. Turns out she’s eclipsed Nick’s acting career by leaps and bounds.”
Sources say Nick was initially under the impression that Mariah would remain the singer in the family, while he followed an acting career.
Mariah is fighting to stay in the spotlight…that’s why she’s going back to Tommy Mottola former home SONY after suffering the failed album “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel,” which sold just 409,000 units in 16 weeks. That doesn’t even place at gold! Carey’s fans believe that she’s extraordinary, but guess what? She’s not…the numbers don’t lie. Do they? That may be the reason why Mariah is now switching record labels. She may also be switching male companions too.

Going back to her former label? Its a compilation CD of songs that she made from when she was with Sony so legally the only label able to release those songs would be Sony. Furthermore the CD is just a re-release of the Ballads which came out last year by putting another name on it there hoping to drive album sales right in time for Valentines Day.
Also Precious and Tennessee were in fact filmed prior to Nick And Mariah ever getting married so i don’t see how that argument is even valid.And as for the poor album sales at this point Mariah is so rich and successful it doesn’t even matter her next album could sell 2 copies and it wouldn’t take away from that fact. All of these stories are just made up trash, please find a new hobby.

I’m proud to say I never had a Mariah Carey CD in my life…Know why? Because she’s boring mane…
DJ Clue told me Mariah drinks too much and we all know Lil Nicky is a jack-ass…

ok I know I’m late on the subject but you don’t even have to go there. I agree with alot of ur posts cuz it’s the truth but maybe you need a reality check as well. You talk about all these musicians and people leading kids astray but Mariah has never done that. Her music was all about overcoming and trusting in God. Noone says that anymore. Give credit to the people who do something great. So what it didn’t sell much she has accomplished so much in her career give her a break. So she drinks alot and…sue her. I know it’s a blog but seriously and blowing d**** …Thats not very educated at all.

Let’s give Ms. Carey due respect she has a great voice probably better than any singers on the limelight at the moment! She’s a true talent that world cannot have anymore..If she drinks a lot well that’s personal already..let’s give credit as to how talented the person is. She may be out dated but hey, she a true talent!! Nobody stays on top forever simply because we aged and so do you : )
