Sad. Cause’ Pop cost them the series in game 6. WHY!?, WHY!?, WHY!? wouldn’t you foul at the end of the game and let Miami shoot 2 free throws rather that let Ray send it to overtime with a 3!? WHY!? (Wont even mention the missed free throw that could have sealed it too. Not often you see a COACH lose a game. This one is on Pop 100%.)

This could be a Team-Breaking loss for SA. Its hard to recover mentally from losses like this when the loss is your fault. SA is getting older and Miami is getting better. Also the Grizz, Indiana and others are looking like strong possibles for the very near future.

    The NBA is fixed.

Manu Ginóbili was part of the fix as was Tim Duncan. LeBron never once looked “gratefully happy” but more like “he knew it as if it was a given.”

This coming from a spectator who had no team slated to win. I had no dog in this race so I didn’t care who won.

    That shit was FIXED!

The league is fixed Hands down I don’t care for either team I just want a game to actually be ref with consistency.. I never bother to watch game 7 after watching game 6 now here is my problem with ALL referees In sports period called the game like its at a neutral location a foul that would be called early in the game should still be called in the later stages of the game it’s called CONSISTENCY and fair gaming… It was obvious Bosh hit green with his body before the block now that would had been called a foul in the first quarter then it has to be called in the later portion of the game… Now, if the refs aren’t going to call fouls late in the game then why are the still on court.. Just go sit in stands with the ultimate mobster David stern and have a hotdog and a beer and let them play the game like its street ball what’s the difference I guess the refs are on only running up and down the court to get some exercise Pure bullshit… But that applies to all sports not just THE NBA… In the Super Bowl it was obvious Crabtree wasn’t grab, held up to prevent him from getting to the ball that was clearly catchable but the refs just hold the flag like some how there wallet was attached to it… It’s getting harder to sit and enjoy this shit they selling…. But In reality the games are just a diversion to keep the people minds far away from what’s most important… U know the real shit like what the fuck these politicians and who they really work for got planned for u we all should stop supporting this bullshit with our money and our i retrievable TIME… WAKE UP SLEEPY HEADS

    @Todd,

I really enjoyed your comment & found a lot of my own feelings encased in your words. You hit it right on the head in the fact that we need to stop wasting our time & money on any of it. I’ve long since stopped attending &/or watching the Super Bowl & tonight I decided to no longer support the NBA at all. I ONLY watch the finals anyway & now I’m completely done all together.

Normally we give the kids very little credit for “paying attention to what’s going on around them” but my son & his friends are saying things like this:

“Mom, you do know Samsung has a commercial showing LeBron with his 2nd chapionship ring on ALREADY? How is that if the game wasn’t rigged?” *He’s 16yrs*

    Like LeBron said…
“he’s blessed to be in the NBA so who cares what anyone has to say about him off the court.” What this equals out to mean is…”I’m in the NBA, I’m rich & to hell with what anyone thinks who ain’t paying me.”

    [Reply]

    Todd Reply:

And notice Nike already has the lebron Two ring shoes all ready I saw them yesterday on my yardbarker site… I knew right then and there the heat was going to win… But it’s refreshing hearing your son and his friends are conscious enough to notice

Show your son this article from the NYTimes. A pre-planned article with BOTH results hit the net. Can be edited at last sec no matter which team wins. Most people dont realize that celebrity obituaries are written and updated for YEARS before the star dies so that can be released ASAP!! I’m sure Samsung had 2 ads ready. Prob one they’re used before AND the championship version. Hollywood magic.

I can also link stories on businesses that lost this bet BIGTIME. (LOL!! Lotta peeps went BROKE on the Patriots the year they were undefeated BEFORE they lost the Superbowl. CHOKE!! Big Risk, Big Reward.)

@Todd Do you remember Tim Donaghy, he’s an ex nba referee that was sentenced to prison for betting and then deliberately miscalling games he officiated. He wrote a book exposing the NBA.He has also done interview saying that the NBA is crooked.

Yep…That Referee Fixing scandal was much more widespread than the public was lead to believe.

Stern paid the media off to quickly bury that story and if you don’t recall what went down you will forget that the Ref said HE WAS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

    Vegas controls the NBA.

You dont have to fix individual games. You fix sports with superior personnel. I.e. talent and athleticism. This was fixed the day of the pep rally. Then Stern allowed Allen, Lewis, Howard, Miller, Battier to all take pay cuts down to 1 mil. Hello Players Union?

    [Reply]

Yeah I familiar with him.. And the league tried to paint it as if it was just him going rogue which clearly wasn’t the case by how the games are still being called.. David stern is stepping down after tonight as the commissioner of the league to work more on the oversea market for the league but nothing going to change because its all about the change and the dollar bills..

I just ordered to Kindle and read that book by the ex-referee Donagy that was suggested by keepitreal and Im done with pro basketball (college ball too which is in actuality professional because the schools profit and earn income)..

That book opened my eyes to my favorite sport and now I have to say Fuck the Knicks too.

Basketball is the easiest game to manipulate and Im tired of being manipulated damn if Im going to give energy to a fixed sport.

I’m picking mine up later this evening & I can’t wait, however, I’m completely done & over the NBA after last night & all major sports for that matter.

I started feeling twisted when all the top baseball players were popping up postitive for PEDs. I was really shocked at the names that were associated with that & how the MLB acts as if “they had not idea.”

I LOVE boxing…even if the last Mayweather fight cost me $70 to see HD. (Won’t be doing THAT again either) I’d been living off the hopes of giving my biggest fight party ever when Pacquiao & Mayweather fight but that whole vibe was killed when Pacquiao started loosing fights to cats he should of been beating to a pulp. Rumor had it that Pacquiao was using PED’s & Meth too. WTH…right? As much as I don’t want to believe it I do recall very clearly how he never wanted to be subjected to the Olympic-style blood test which was a prequisite for Mayweather agreeing to their fight. None of it matters now so….To hell with all of it! :-)

The NBA is not fixed. Can’t say if individual players or refs are throwing or “fixing” games but I don’t believe the whole league is fixed like WWF wrestling (or whatever it is called these days).

Just because a ref makes a bad call or has an axe to burn against the owner of a team or a coach or some player doesn’t mean the whole league is fixed. You have rogue officials in every sport and probably every profession. To say the league as a whole is fixed a gross exaggeration and takes away from the hard work and talent that the players bring to the game.

At the end of game 6 everybody thought the Spurs were going to win. They had a trophy already made with the Spurs on it as the winners and had to run that shit back behind the scenes when the Heat staged a comeback.

They always make two winning trophies and other memerobilia with both teams logos etc. on them so that they’re ready to go no matter who wins. Same with the shoes. The designers design shoes just in case so that they’re ready to go rigt after the game so that they can capitalize off the hype of the game.

Lebron played his ass off last night and I’m happy for He deserves it and I think he has a great attitude after all the shit white people heaped on him in Cleveland for leaving.

    [Reply]

    Anonymous Reply:

@anonymous 14:51 an ex ref said in an interview that his crew received a message from the league reminding them how many fouls they had given Kobe. I’m not saying they’ve already crowned next year champion, but it’s bigger than a few rogue players and a few rogue officials. Have you ever wondered why they released an injury report to the public and opposing team?

In reality the league is worth too much money to leave to chance. The cheap bullshyt teams are worth 100 mil. You dont throw that kind pf loot up in the air and hope it goes well. U think bron and rose just happened to go to their hometowns? Stop urself.

Guys open your eyes and see that the NBA is fixed!

    [Reply]

    BlackOpz Reply:

People don’t GAMBLE on fixed sports!! (BOXING, BOXING, BOXING being the horrible exception. But that’s YOUR fault if you bet on that crap…)

You can live in your conspiracy world (and you’ll have plenty of company) but its just not true. Have players and refs fixed games? Yep. But every investigation leads back to that sole individual even the NBA snitch only really implicated himself.

He made some vague accusations. VERY VAGUE but had NO PROOF, NO emails, NO phone records, NO Wiretaps. I looked at and skimmed his book for Tea and there was none. Just a guy that gambled a lot and got compromised by the mob.

I’ll admit that the NBA likes game 7′s and Marquee Finals match-ups but nobody would EVER fix the Spurs into the finals, EVER. Nobody except SA wants them in the finals, not even the league but they played their way in and deserved it.

No hard fixing. But you will find LA getting a couple more questionable calls that go their way since the league likes them in Finals but as you can see even the NBA can only do so much when your team sucks (LA!! ;)). Nudging, Yes – Fixing, No.

    [Reply]

    Anonymous Reply:

nudging is fixing. San Antonio has little domestic appeal but lots of foreign appeal. They had only 3 players that actually played that was from the U.S. All of their star players are foreign. U.S. is not the only place that has money.

    [Reply]

    BlackOpz Reply:

I don’t agree. Nudging is just that. It happens on both sides because were human. Remember when Joey Crawford ejected Tim Duncan for laughing ON THE BENCH!! Refs have fave players and those they don’t like. If they blow a call they’ll whistle a ticky-tack on the other end to balance the mistake.

Its not a perfect-world 100% even field but overall its pretty fair and the best part is that the players on the floor can beat the nudge. A NBA player I know told me that when you play away games you have to beat 8. (5 players+3 refs)

Thats what the home court advantage is BUT its always possible to beat the edge. Also that call from the league about Kobe could have referred to ANYTHING. Not calling fouls on him? Too many fouls called on him? Players do complain to the league about the refs and they will make a call if needed but Tim Donaghy NEVER, NEVER made a single provable statement that he was given a direct order to effect the outcome of a game. NEVER.

LAST POINT: Yao Ming was the BIGGEST overseas star ever in USA basketball and that aura didn’t help Houston even get a ticket to the Finals after-party. If you were gonna fix the game for overseas publicity that was the best chance. 1.5 BILLION PEOPLE!! Almost 5X the USA. No fixer would miss out on those ratings and merchandise sales if possible.

    [Reply]

    Keepitrealnotkeepinitreal Reply:

Disagree with ur Yao Ming point. Sterns job was to open the game globally not allow other countries to win. Ming was the leading vote getter in 2 all star games. He also sold a shitload of jerseys in China. Sterns plan began in Shaqs last year of college. The ncaa had already moved the three pont line in to 19 feet in an attempt to make yt players relevant again in college hoops. Shaq dominated every game and was heading to the pros where yt guys were irrelevant also. So what does stern do? He allows teams to go anywhere in the world to find players. Preferably of the 7 foot variety. College wasnt producing yt nba stars anymore and by in large blk folks dont buy tix to nba games. Stern knew yt fans wanted to root for yt players, not chinese players. Ming is like the token chinese dude that opened a new market for merchandising. No one cared if he won. Same with dirk. The ring was a bonus. He sold jerseys in germany for stern. Thats why pros were allowed in the olympics. The dream team served as inspiration for the next generation of intl hoopers. The market was saturated in the US at the time. Scouts took the best player off the dream teams opponents and instantly gained a new marketing playground. But the bottom line to each of sterns moves was to find yt dudes who could play cus they werent coming from the ncaa.

It wasnt that long ago when steve alford was the player of the year and got cut as a rookie. The Pacers were the worst team in the league at the time. Stern got out in front of that problem. Ming was just a pawn in Sterns chess game.

Just get educated on the basics of basketball and compare that to the line Las Vegas sets on the games. You can easily see that the NBA is fixed! You can also read Tim Donaghy’s book Personal Foul. Lots of good information written by a former NBA referee.

    [Reply]

  22. BlackOpz |

TIM DONAGHY (The NBA Ref that went to jail) reviews each game and evaluates the calls the ref made. This is the same exact process the referee league does with them after each game to grade them.

The calls seem pretty even handed. Nothing series of calls really stand out as tipping the scale one way or the other just mostly human mistakes (Some of the ones they blow WILL make each side mad though. Mostly 3 sec calls missed by a sec or two).

    BlackOpz Reply:

Not really but he’s probably right on THESE calls. First of all anyone can review them for themselves to check him, he WAS a referee so he does have the knowledge and why lie now? (the mob isnt paying him to lie in ARTICLES!?) plus anyone can make accurate calls AFTER the game (rewind, replay) refs are paid to do it in real-time on the floor.
