Put it this way, the Beatles catalog helped EMI records in a major way…EMI didn’t have to compete with the majors in the market the Beatles songs were always making money.
Michael Jackson just became Sony’s cash cow…they don’t need anything else but Michael Jackson now. What was Joe Camel thinking?

Regardless of what Jay-Z did, I’m glad he shut down Chris Brown. Just because a parent did bad deeds doesn’t mean they can’t give any advice to their children or others. Call it hypocritical if you want but its better for Jay-Z to do that than to promote it like P.Diddy.
