Put it this way, the Beatles catalog helped EMI records in a major way…EMI didn’t have to compete with the majors in the market the Beatles songs were always making money.

Regardless of what Jay-Z did, I’m glad he shut down Chris Brown. Just because a parent did bad deeds doesn’t mean they can’t give any advice to their children or others. Call it hypocritical if you want but its better for Jay-Z to do that than to promote it like P.Diddy.
