Morgan “I’m Marrying My Granddaughter” Freeman Replaces Voice of Walter Cronkite

Morgan Freeman made his debut as replacement for Walter Cronkite’s voice on CBS’ Evening News, Monday.

The actor will stand in for the news program’s feature voice-over. The change comes about six months after the legendary newsman’s death, whose voice has been a staple in the news community for more nearly half a century. Cronkite joined CBS News back in 1950, after being recruited by Edward R. Murrow.

Now, you’ll hear Freeman introducing Katie Couric during CBS’ evening news time slot.

“As comforting as it is to look back on the great career that Walter had, we’re looking forward now and we just felt it was the right time to make the move that at some point had to be made,” said CBS News and Sports President Sean McManus. “This seemed like the appropriate time since Walter’s passing to make the move.”

During the height of his career as a CBS anchor, Cronkite was cited as “The Most Trusted Man in America.” Now, a man who many accuse of incest is replacing the voice of a legendary news man.

You may remember back in July of last year, Freeman made national headlines after the actors  plans to marry his 27-year-old grand stepdaughter, E’Dena Hines were made public. The shocking announcement came after a reported decade-long sexual affair 72-year-old Freeman was having with Hines. Lets not forget Morgan raised this girl since she was very young. The affair sparked the divorce between Freeman and his wife of 25-years, Myrna Colley-Lee.

During an interview surrounding the shocking affair, a source close to Freeman’s family said Freeman led E’Dena to believe she was to be the next Mrs. Morgan Freeman.

“Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal,” revealed the family source. “She believes her wish is finally going to come true.”

What a PIG! Any organization that would hire such a despicable individual does not care about morality. Dan Rather was one of the first to speak the truth about such organizations, and now those same organizations seem to be going the extra mile to erase him as a staple in the news business. Now, this is solid proof that Mr. Rather was only speaking the truth. Don’t you agree?
