Nate Dogg Estate Sued For Not Paying His Medical Bills

The estate of hip-hop singer Nate Dogg is being sued for hundreds of thousand of dollars for medical bills that have gone unpaid.
Nate Dogg was moved into a CareMeridian treatment facility in 2008 rights after he suffered his second stroke. The center, which is dedicated to caring for patients who have suffered traumatic injuries, claims that the singers family never paid the bill.
Nate Dogg allegedly received treatment from 2008 until 2010 and racked up more than $290,000 in medical bills. According to the lawsuit, Nate Dogg’s manager personally guaranteed CareMeridian reps that the bills would be paid.
However, a court recently handed down a default judgment, ordering Nate Dogg’s estate to pay $293,512.52 to CareMeridian.
Dang, where are his homies? Snoop, Warren G ,Dogg Pound. Somebody? Anybody? ….Nobody? That’s truely sad! What seriously happened to all the cash he made from singing hooks and such?
All gone? Or is he’s Estate, just refusing to pay? Too many questions. RIP nonetheless!

right after Nate died the family was begging for money to help his kids and to help pay for the funeral… which just so happened to be attended by all his RICH rapper friends.

@ Dark Angel, I remember reading about that. And although his rich friends showed up to attend his funeral, these are the same friends who drop thousands of dollars at any given strip club, on any given day, while at home or while out on tour. Not that they “HAD” to do anything, but it really looks bad and speaks volumes about his so-called “Friends”.

Honestly, when that happens (people asking for donations from an adoring public) is more of a money grab than a sincere need for help. Basically, “ITS BUSINESS”

Exactly! That was just a PR stunt! I figured Warren, seeing as he was closet to Nate, would have helped out; more so than Snoop.

Sincerely, my deepest condolences to Nate’s family..surely, the least we could do is lift the up in prayer. However, (in my most humble tone) I am just. A little confused …why exactly is everyone so surprised by the lack of support from his industry circle? Does not this same circumstance happen to ordinary people? Were we all not raised to believe that at the end of the day, all you truly have to depend on is aGod Almighty and family?

Please, do not misconstrue my assessments of the matter because, overall, I believe a true friend would not and could sit back and watch the family suffer. Especially when the friend is loaded with cash, like Snop! Nevertheless, keeping it real….it is not Snoops or Warren G’s job to financially stabilize Nate’s family. At least in my opinion it is not. Maybe fans are just putting to much depth in, what is essentially superficial to the rappers portraying the lifestyle? …..I am not sure if u actually get what I am saying?

I have to add one more thing then I am really done with this…..Okay, after the first stroke there should have been a plan in place for the what if; someone could have possibly started some type of life insurance policy. This money could have not only covered the funeral cost but also could have rescued the home from foreclosure. Jasper should just put up the information so the culture that embraced his music can send support bc we are just as obligated as his label mates. Well maybe in a sense we are, if we really wanted to give it some thought…..

Maybe he did have the money for burial and related expenses and his family spent it all while he was in care. His friends were probably aware of this and refused to give the family another dime……

Snoop paid for the funeral so don’t be mad at snoop….. Snoop ain’t Nate dogg what was going on with Nate dogg family? Why weren’t they paying the bills on time? You won’t need to know where his homies were at if the family knew money management? Nate dogg did some get hits but by 2005 Nate was not doing hits as much that should’ve been the time family was in his ear asking him what’s gonna be next for us because our money running low but no they spent the little money he had and looking for homies to take care of the bills afterward….. Sorry yall a friend paying for a funeral is good enough to me…. That guts because funerals are high and that’s coming out of snoops family mouths. How much money does anyone think Nate Dogg made in his career? He was a hook man that had a few unsuccessful albums. He’d be lucky if he made $300k in his whole career.
The only one who has made any real money out of that crew in Snoop & Dre. It’s not their responsibility but if that’s your boy & you got the money you should help out his family or get that man’s face off your arm cuz you ain’t his real homie.
When my homies die the whole damn hood has fundraisers to help the fam. Whatever we gotta do. Wash cars or whatever. The last few times we raised over $10,000 for the fam. That’s what real homies do. These niggas is fake as f*ck!
