OLD DIRTY BASTARD NEEDED BETTER FRIENDS
Old Dirty Bastard’s lengthy battle against drugs is no secret to many. Now, the leader of ‘Wu Tang Clan’, ‘Rza’ is speaking out, openly admitting that he shouldn’t have waited so long to try and lend a helping hand in breaking ‘Old Dirty Bastard’s infamous addiction.
I for one have personally fallen witness to the drug-induced antics of ‘Old Dirty Bastard’. Once, at the Sunset Strips’ ‘Key Club,’ I saw a crack smoke-fueled ODB actually pull down his pants, and expose his full frontal while performing his then hit single “Shimmy Shimmy Ya”…WTF!?!?!?! I immediately left the concert!!! Know why? Cuz I ain’t into seeing naked men MANE!
I now have word that Rza is calling out ODB, saying that the dirty bastard (with obviously, a fitting stage name), beamed himself up to Scottie in front of his own son! WTF??? That shit ain’t no joke. With that said, I’d say that Vegas bets the odds at a hundred to one, that Old Dirty Bastard had stained his son’s mind forever. Don’t you agree?
RZA, whose real name is Robert Diggs and whose stage name is pronounced “Rizza,” also talked about his role in the death of his cousin, Russell Jones, better known as Ol’ Dirty Bastard or ODB. Two days before his 36th birthday in 2004, ODB died in a New York recording studio from an overdose of cocaine and painkillers.
RZA writes in the book that he once witnessed ODB force his own son to watch him do drugs. RZA tried to leave, he writes, but ODB wouldn’t let him. Now, RZA told CNN, he wishes he would’ve been tougher with ODB about his drug problem.
