Old Trick New Playground – Ashanti On Off-Broadway Play

Ashanti was a video girl back in the early 90′s and then Irv Gotti signed her to Murder Inc. Then her voice became the hook to Ja Rule’s hit singles. Then she was a solo artist and you guys loved her but I’ve heard rumors that’s she bi-sexual and she slept her way to the top. Do you believe those rumors? This is not a rumor.  Ashanti doesn’t sell records anymore and her sales are way down. Not even having her boyfriend Nelly on the track can increase her record sales. Know why? Nelly needs help too! His recording days are over and no one cares about Nelly. By the way does Nelly still do steroids? Now I’m hearing that Ashanti is the lead in a off Broadway play of the WIZ…  Didn’t Stephanie Mills play that part already? The same role Ashanti is about to do in the Wiz is also the same role Diana Ross played. But guess what? Both Stephanie Mills and Diana Ross can sing! Can Ashanti sing? No. So my advice to you all is to miss this play. Don’t go see this bullshit version of the Wiz and save your money. Isn’t there a recession?
