Lil Wayne is currently working on his upcoming album “The Carter IV”, which is scheduled to be released on August 29th – but Wezzy is claiming that he’s having problems finding decent beats to spit on.

Justin Samuels is suing Creative Artists Agency and William Morris Endeavor — two of Hollywood’s top talent agencies — for eight million dollars. The scribe says that he has been unable to obtain professional screenwriting work because of those agencies’ racially and sexually discriminatory practices.

“Their extremely restrictive recruiting policies for screenwriters locks out non-white and women screenwriters,” Samuels, age 34, told the Hollywood Investigator. “I tried to break in for nine years. I’ve sent out hundreds, if not thousands of query letters.

“Major production companies always respond by saying that you need an agent to submit to them. Major agencies — such as CAA and WME — say that they don’t accept unsolicited communications, and that the only way they would consider you is if a major player in the industry referred you.” Continue Reading…

If you haven’t been out here in a while, you ain’t missing nothing. Know why? Because Hollywood isn’t fly anymore mane.

A few years ago, I awoke and looked out my window over looking Hollywood Blvd to see sightseeing tour buses everywhere (an idea which was probably taken from New York City). Now, If you were to walk on Hollywood Blvd., you’d see so many teenagers walking around with their guitars (or other musical instruments) – heading to the Musicians Institute. I wonder if their teachers are telling them that the music industry has change. Of course they aren’t, these kids are paying upwards of $50, 000 for the education of something you can only really master firsthand, in-the-trenches mane.

Former LAPD detective Russell Poole already said that the police knew that former LAPD Rampart division officer David Mack had something to do with the death of rapper Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls.

Poole said the only reason why LAPD never charged David Mack for the murder of Biggie was because the department didn’t want to cause more a stir for themselves and David Mack had already been arrested and charged for bank robbery. Police chief at the time Bernard Parks believed Mack would already be locked up, so there’s was no reason to charge him with the murder. Continue Reading…
