Puffy Revolts Against His Own ‘Revolt’ Music Network?

June 21st, 2013

Diddy's Revolt Failure

“My channel wouldn’t be right for all advertisers.” ~Sean Combs

Mr. Flip It?

HSK Exclusive - Puffy seems to be intentionally sabotaging his planned cable music network. That’s because not only has Bad Boy Combs reportedly spent his entire “Revolt” budget, he’s also said to be pushing advertisers away!

“I hate watching commercials.” ~Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs

This news comes several months after Puffy announced he was set to kick-off his cable music network “Revolt”. You may recall the planned 12/12/12 launch date didn’t happen, after we first told you Combs was being blamed for failing to pay his Glendale Revolt staff. That’s before the Bad Boy’s recent apparent attack on potential advertisers for his network, at Cannes.

Here’s what Puffy had to say at Cannes International Advertising Festival:

“I hate watching commercials. My channel wouldn’t be right for all advertisers. It would be almost not right to get in a partnership with somebody when we know we can’t deliver the audience. The message isn’t going to resonate with our audience.”

Is Puffy’s cable music network “Revolt” doomed for failure? I don’t know, but I’d like to know what you think.

I just mentioned this in another post.

It seems Puffy is taking this Revolt TV deal to both Time Warner & Comcast but I’m not feeling the idea irregardless to what anyone says.

EVERYONE better get ready for all sorts of “symbolism” & “other things” we don’t need our teens viewing. I feel it’s a mess of epic proportions waiting to happen. The world needs Puffy behind the scenes “creating havoc” NOT in front!

The world don’t need puff just his family that depend on him to feed them… and the powers that be who needs him to continue feeding our youth to them… But u are surely right about the symbolism’s and rituals and flat out demon casting that all who watch cause remember the EYES ARE THE WINDOW TO YOUR SOUL that are quite aware of the many agendas that can be pushed along with all the other networks that they possess to further sick demons for the young to become possessed…

Who watches TV for music videos?
    Has he noticed FUSE?
And idea that is 10 years too late.

I agree. Too little, too late. I stopped watching BET once every video became softcore porn. I don’t understand how women can look at those videos. I would always get embarrassed if women were around and they put a ‘stripper-like booty shaker’ video playing. It always felt a bit disrespectful. (Like playing porn on a first date…)

I could never understand why most women don’t feel offended by them. (Ms Reg? BX2? Any ideas on that?) Think it was still ‘Hammertime’ last time I tuned in. If Diddy is gonna follow the old MTV plan he’s gonna find out FAST!! why they changed it. Low ratings and non-exclusive content that anyone can see anywhere else. (also who waits to see a video when you can pull it up on the Internet NOW!!!)

His shirt is shy three letters. It should have read “REVOLTING” and that would’ve been about right.

If at first you don’t succeed try try again. When ever the money is funny, Diddy always branching off from one scheme/scam to another.

No Ads. No content. Be glad advertisers you IGNORE are still willing to pay for content you want to see and hear. No ads means everything would be pay-per-view. How much content would you consume if everything you watched/heard or read needed a subscription or credit card charge.

“I could never understand why most women don’t feel offended by them.”

    they’re too busy being

    A: STAR STRUCK

    or

B: they just like the “hook” / “chorus” and / or “beat”

    or

C: if they can dance to it and it’s “hot” then they’ll overlook the derogatory content

    SIMPLE

    A. Uhhh,… OK (I guess)
    B. Buy/Bootleg/Download the Song
    C. refer to B

Maybe its just me then. When I wanna watch porn I don’t go halfway. I dont watch music videos to get turned on and I dont use my computer for porn. I’m just turned OFF by the hyper-sexuality. Its really no wonder boys objectify woman – They’re being taught to see them only as sexual OBJECTS while the woman are being taught to be Gold Diggers.

I can understand why boys want to be the guys in the video. I cant understand why girls want to be the women. Do they have a secret desire to be 1 or 10? To be a booty call? Wanting the look is one thing but wanting that lifestyle seems silly since the men just use and toss them aside.

That’s just it, they don’t see the using and tossing them away part. They only see what they perceive as the “fun” part…gold digging.

    EXACTLY.

they wanna have fun to all this bullshit music with all these bullshit messages, and then wonder why they can’t find a husband or a baby daddy that actually stays in the picture.

if you celebrate those kinds of lyrics, then don’t expect to find a man – because those lyrics have NOTHING TO DO with keeping chics around for any extended amount of time.

    SURE.

that’s the CURRENT paradigm / business model…but if diddy can create a NEW (successful) model, then this venture could possibly change the game.

he’s already off to a solid start be disliking ADS…which are basically SPAM.

Ads will improve. I’m on the web so much that Google ads target me pretty accurately and I dont mind them. Currently TV doesnt have access to my emails, search terms, etc like Google does (but I’m sure Giggles will be selling that info in the near future) so once that happens and almost every ad targets your interests people wont mind watch ads.

A lot needs to be done to make this a reality though since every viewer wont see the same ads but the tech exist right now (cable box streaming). Its just a matter of rollout and cost.
