RIP Ed McMahon

Tweet This Story!

ed mcmahon classy RIP Ed McMahon photo

Ed McMahon died today and it makes me think about how ungrateful man-kind can be.
It was The Johnny Carson Show that took Ed  to his greatest riches and fame… Ed was known for the show’s intro, “Here’sssssss Johnny”.
If there was no Johnny Carson, Doc Severinsen (the bandleader ), and Ed McMahon there would be no Jay Leno Show. They paved the way for guys like him and David Letterman…

However, regardless of what Ed contributed to the world during his lengthy career, no one in that world came to his rescue when financial problems left him with nothing.

Instead they chose to clown him. Ed’s home was up for foreclosure and what did the evil industry people in Hollywood do?
They gave Ed and Mc Hammer a mortgage foreclosure commercial…Why didn’t Jay Leno give a helping hand to Ed McMahon? Ed Mcmahon did help NBC by making the 11:30 time slot worth something… didn’t he? It’s a cold industry and everyone is out for themselves…

I don’t jock nobody I just tell the turth… Ouch!!! That hurts mane…
