RIP Malcolm McLaren, The Godfather of Punk

Malcolm McLaren has lost his battle with cancer, at the age of 64.

Malcolm died in Switzerland with his 37-year-old Korean wife, Young Kim, and his son, Joe Corre, at his bedside. Some of you ladies love the man now grieving his father’s recent death, Joe Corre. Know why? Because ladies love to buy lingerie from “Agent Provocateur”, and Joe is the founder of that company.

You may remember Malcolm as the manager of “The New York Dolls”, as well as “The Sex Pistols” – for those of you who aren’t familiar with the Sex Pistols, they were once banned from English airwaves for their controversial single “God Save The Queen”, because the track was viewed as a song lashing out against the establishment. And, guess what? I loved it!!!

I will remember Malcolm most for his “Buffalo Gals” song, which was a dope Hip/Hop record released back in 1983. I also loved Malcolm’s “Madam Butterfly”, I was a kid when I first saw that video and fell in love with it. Know why? Because the video only had chic’s in it mane!

I admire people like Malcolm McLaren because they’re not afraid to push people’s buttons when it comes to entertainment and I wish him heaven…
