I think Jasper is right. Kim is known for appearing in an adult film, how can she help fundraise. If she wasnt pretty you would not be asking her to do this and dumb a** Reggie would not be engaged. But to hollywood and the superficial you do not need talent just being cute is enough to get you paid. One sex tape got the whole family paid, but it sure is not talent. Russ should ask some of the other porn whores to help with the charity but because they are not as cute as kim they did not get asked. These people make me sick to get rich and paid nowadays all you have to do is be a freak, there are to many people in the entertainment business that have no talent let a lone entertainment value. Kim followed in the footsteps of paris, have money, not much talent, and a sex tape, we will give you your own show.

So, um, what is her talent again that qualifies her to host a CHARITY FOR CHILDREN?

Mr. Simmons, do you even understand the subconscious and emotional signals women like Ms. Kardashian give off to young girls? As a father of daughters how can you not see this?

So what message do we send to our young girls and women of America? That you do not need to learn music, Art, play an instrument, study drama, learn to paint, learn Math, take up a sport, study literature or writing…

Nope, if you wanna be famous or successful all you have to do is make sure you’re hot and be willing to get fucked on camera.

Sir, not only do you demean young women by employing someone of the likes of Ms. Kardashian for your function. But you demean every man, woman and child that has busted their ass to learn their craft so they may present creative works and expressions of God to others. Including those talents you’ve supported or produced.

You’re demeaning every record, movie, book, television show, work of art. Anything creative where people had to develop their talent and craft to create their work – you demean them by encouraging this culture to keep giving attention and prosperity to Ms. Kardashian.

The whole thought has me lighting candles right now and blaring KING OF ROCK as loud as I can with my Adidas on and a tear in my eye.

People that have come from your background are supposed to understand this Mr. Simmons. Not contribute to it.

Your justification that adults will sign checks to be near her celebrity – so anything for the kids, clearly does not compute. Because you’re action in employing her and the message that sends is far more damaging than any help this fundraiser will obtain.

The biggest problem behind every problem in this world is a lack of emotional intelligence. Maybe you should display some and rethink this move.

Dr. Todd Boyd, one of USC school of Cinema’s leading professors and author of “Am I Black Enough For You” has a term he defines as “Cultural Capital” Meaning how much value you have in the culture versus monetarily wealth.

And these young girls, they see Paris and Kim and then they go and they start to have sexual experiences as early as twelve or thirteen. They take on the belief that the only way to be valued as a woman is by how attractive and famous you are. And that even pornography can get you mainstream success and Carl’s Jr. Commercials and hosting charity benefits for Russel Simmons and the East Coast Elite.

Show some Emotional Intelligence, Mr. Simmons.
